Carr Garth was built in the 1800's as a Chandlery. It supported a thriving boat building industry with boat builders such as Crossfields of Arnside who were leading builders of Morecambe Bay Prawners and yachts from the 1840s to 1950s. Set in an elevated position at the top of Pier Lane, Carr Garth has amazing views of the Morecambe Bay Estuary right up to The Lake District and further! Set over three floors there is 1 double bedroom, 1 twin bedroom and 1 single bedroom and a family bathroom.

Guests will have sole use of the spacious house and its relaxing lounge with access to the large sunny deck. The well equipped kitchen has a comfortable dining area. A lovely little accommodation, comfortable and cosy with a country cottage garden and a beautiful view of the fell beyond. It's located in the village of Allithwaite, just 1.5 miles from the picturesque Cartmel, famous for its races and wonderful pubs, and restaurants. There is a driveway for easy parking. The rear garden, shared with the main house, has comfortable furniture. The single owner has the main house, though she is often away. Local amenities include a corner shop and a pub.

Walls a metre thick, large oak beams, log stove, and shutters on the tiny windows that open to reveal a beautiful view of the open countryside with lovely walks from the door. This cottage is full of character and has everything you need for a magical special break.
