Kid-friendly vacation rentals in McLennan County

We stayed here for a week while working on a project in Waco, and it was perfect. The place was cute, peaceful, and spotless—just what we needed after long workdays. It had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. We hope it's always available whenever we travel to Waco!

What a great stay at the Baby Blue Cottage!! VERY responsive hosts!! Everything as advertised/pictured!! We stayed for my daughter’s Baylor graduation, but would love to stay again just because :-)

A beautiful little treasure smack dab in the downtown area of Waco! It met all needs above and beyond. Communication was top-notch too. Location was 1 mile away from downtown in one direction and a Walmart in the opposite direction. Highly recommend.

Great stay very comfy and cozy! The bed and linen was so comfortable I slept like a baby! Very cute place would highly recommend!

My husband and I really enjoyed our stay -- Alexandra was great and our stay was extremely private and relaxing and allowed me to focus on my horse show competition at the Extraco Events Center (5 minutes away). The location was amazing and we couldn't believe it when we arrived to a quiet established neighborhood surrounded by trees. It was lovely to look out from the kitchen/dining/living room at the large backyard (our little dogs loved it!) and watch/listen to birds in the evening. The kitchen was large and well provisioned, the patio just lovely, and the living room was super comfortable. The bedrooms/baths were also spacious, private and quiet -- we slept very well (very important to us). Overall it was a wonderful experience and we plan on booking this location again in the future.

Loved our stay. We are a family with 4 kids and we stayed here with another family with three kids. There was so much room and the play area was absolutely perfect! We are actually staying here again in a couple of months when we come down for football season and couldn’t be more excited!

As a first time Airbnb booking guest, we were very pleased! Clear, helpful instructions from start to finish. We loved all the added touches to the home.. it was clean, cute and comfortable. We are also very grateful for how accommodating our host(s) were. Great family time was spent together under one roof, instead of separate motel rooms. Wow! We were all blown away by our stay here! The uptown cottage is incredibly quaint and located just minutes from magnolia market. The inspiration from magnolia really carries through the entire place. The homemade labels for bottles and dispensers, the accent pillows, throws, the faux greenery… loved all the details! The beds were comfy, my kids loved the triple bunk. The dining table seated us all comfortably so we could enjoy dinners at home and board games in the evenings. The washer and dryer are new and spacious and we loved having 2 bathrooms to use. A wonderful stay while we visited Waco, thank you!!

Great location, very close to lots of attractions.

Eric is super nice, easy to deal with. Just a normal guy not some company just making money and not caring about guests. Would recommend and definitely going to look for Eric’s places for rent around the area when I’m here. 10/10

This Lil honey hole is one of the best places in the area of Dallas/ft.worth worth the money,you get to grill and enjoy the hot tub and the peace and quiet of lake life Rodney has a sweet spot on lake Whitney thank you both for allowing us to enjoy your spot

Highly recommend staying at Heather's place. It is beautiful from the inside design/decor, clean...to the views outside! She has thought of everything, the place is warm and cozy. It is close to Magnolia and many other restaurants and shopping. Parking is easy. Heather is super responsive and helpful! When we return to Waco, we will stay here again!

Had an amazing girls trip! The location was in a central location easily accessible. The condo was clean, comfortable and had many perks! Kenya was extremely helpful with a lot of local suggestions and answered questions when we had them. Would highly recommend to stay here!

The character of this loft was so fun! We loved being so close to all the downtown things! The host gave great instructions as to finding the condo, where to park, etc. We appreciated their timely responses & communication. Would definitely recommend!

Jan was so easy to get ahold of and she goes above and beyond to guide you in off of the interstate making it a stress free drive. The home was clean and cozy and smelled amazing. She reached out and predicted any question that could have arose and provided answers before you thought of the questions. Had a lovely time and would recommend it to anyone. Just a wonderful stay!

We had been in the Dallas area for a family wedding so we were pretty tired when we got to Waco. We were so delighted to walk into Chris’s place and find it so welcoming and adorably decorated. All the furniture and the beds were so comfortable. Everything we needed was there! We would certainly return!

This is a great place to stay in Waco! It’s right next to the Dr Pepper museum and there’s lots of shops and restaurants nearby. The apartment has beautiful furnishings and the beds were very comfy. And, most importantly, the AC worked really well and even the upstairs area was plenty cool! Thanks so much for making our stay easy and comfortable!! 😸

We loved our stay. It's a five minute walk to Magnolia, super close to restaurants and a cute bookstore, and peaceful at night. Our last night there, we sat in their camp chairs on the deck (it's small) and ate dinner, talking until midnight. We did have an unexpected, tiny issue and the host quickly responded. Problem solved. We'd go back tomorrow if we could.

I have to say....this was a FABULOUS loft. The owner was unbelievably communicative and helpful. Gem of a man. The LOFT was above and beyond gorgeous! Peaceful, contemporary and inviting. As a Baylor parent, I look forward to making this gorgeous place my home away from home! Perfect Waco place to stay. Perfect. ~ Traci Godfrey
