Villa vacation rentals in Mazzaforno

We had a lovely stay at this charming Italian-style villa with our two children. The house is full of character, beautifully decorated, and very comfortable. The outdoor space was nice and peaceful. The kitchen was well-equipped, and we enjoyed having meals outside. The hosts were kind and attentive, making sure everything was perfect for our stay. We would love to return and definitely recommend this place to families.

We had a wonderful stay in Collesano, just a short drive from Cefalù. The outdoor space was absolutely stunning—surrounded by olive trees and beautiful flowers, it was the perfect place to relax. The pool and outdoor area were especially lovely and well-maintained. We were warmly welcomed by Nino, the gardener, who was incredibly kind and made us feel at home right away. All in all, a great stay—highly recommended!

This vacation was pure relaxation. The view from the terrace of the pool and sea (and also from the living room with panoramic window) is addictive! Two bathrooms was a nice surprise. Important things like supermarket, restaurants, beaches can be reached in 10-15 minutes by car. And yes, the donkey on the neighboring property is still there and wants carrots, cucumbers and an occasional apple. The hosts are very friendly and have good tips. We would love to revisit Villa Rovelle.

We enjoyed a quiet few days at Marco’s place. The outdoor area is beautiful and there was no one around in any of the neighbouring villas so very private. There was a lot of space inside and out. The beach is rocky so water shoes are helpful, and it does get pretty deep quickly but we enjoyed swimming daily. The tunnel to get under the roadway and to the villa is tight, about 6ft wide as the listing mentions, we just managed to get our rental car through (Citron C3) buy pulling the mirrors in. But there is parking on the main road if you can’t get in. Marco was very quick to respond and provided a lot of local recommendations. It was under an hour to both Palermo and Cefalu; a great quiet spot if you want some peace and quiet.

AMAZING! In two years of traveling around Europe and staying in Airbnbs, this is the best house and host we have ever had. It is so beautiful, quiet and peaceful and it has everything you could possibly need. Maria Rosa is an amazing person, and she welcomes you and treats you like family, and makes you feel as if it is your house. She truly cares about her guests. There are literally no negatives about this property. I hope to come back again someday. Book it now and you will not be disappointed!!

We’ve chose the home online, because the place looked beautiful, and perfect for 3 people. The surroundings were just as good, as found on the pictures. The garden is very spacious, both with the outdoor kitchen and the swimming pool. This place is perfect for both trips with family or just a couple of friends. Our trip was 10/10, but our host, Andrea, made it 12/10. Not only was he a super friendly host, but also very open about local spots that are hard to find on your own, as a tourist.

The stay in Aldo's house was completely relaxing from start to finish and we felt very comfortable. Aldo is a very accommodating and friendly host. The house is very nicely decorated and the spacious garden is a dream with many different palm trees that provide shade on hot days. We will be happy to come back!

Antonio’s home was a great place to stay and enjoy Palermo! Frederica was very helpful with anything we needed to make our stay comfortable. Make sure that your rental car is slightly higher off the ground to make sure you don’t scrape your car on the steep driveway to the house. After a couple times the driveway was not difficult but took some getting used to. Thank you for such a wonderful stay! We will definitely be back!

Ornella and her daughter Beatrice were wonderful hosts. They responded to my questions in a timely manner.—- always pleasant and eager to help. The Villa and its surroundings and location were perfect for my group. The outdoor space was amazing! I would highly recommend this Villa to anyone wanting to be near Palermo and the beach!

We were allowed to spend 2 weeks at Diane's villa. Daniele is a very friendly and straightforward host and welcomed us superbly and gave us good tips. Everything was clean and perfect for us. Quiet and private. Great is the proximity to the sea, it's really only a few meters and the beach is nice and quiet and not crowded. Shopping nearby and close to the highway for possible excursions. Danilo is an absolutely amazing host, very responsive, hospitable and helpful. It felt like home, we got a personal greeting letter, which was a very nice gesture, some treats and some recommendations about restaurants., at the end of our stay there were even some little gifts for us. The house is very clean, spacious, modern, carefully designed to be practical, with a patio, terrace, swimming pool and sunbeds and also a little playground for children. There is space for everyone. It’s located a bit up, in a peaceful area, to get there you need a car but it guarantees a very nice view onto the sea. It was a great experience. The only regret is that we stayed only for one night. Danilo, thank you for your kindness and hospitality.

We've had a lot of Airbnb stays, but this was the very best ever. As a family, we felt right at home here — and that's rare. Everything was correct: the cottage was taken care of to the last detail, fully equipped and perfectly tailored to what we needed. From check-in to checkout, everything went effortlessly, in complete privacy and with just the right balance between contact and space. The pool was lovely — a fantastic place to relax and really enjoy the outdoors. And the garden… what a work that must be to maintain, but the result is stunning. So cared for, so beautiful. It adds a lot to the peace and atmosphere of the place. Martina has thought of everything. The atmosphere, the amenities, the tranquility… It felt almost too nice to be true. We found it genuinely difficult to say good bye, and that says a lot. A place like this is rare. We will come back here with love.

Beautiful villa located with a wonderful view over the valley and Castelbouno town. The house was great with bedrooms on three different floors and the garden was very nice with many different lounge and dining areas. The pool area has amazing view and a really nice pool, though no fence so small kids must be watched. This is a perfect location for day trips to Céfalu with surroundings and we also really enjoyed Castelbouno town. Rosanna and her husband (and the dog Amica) took great care of us and were always available if we needed anything. The only minor issue was that we had a few power outages, but that was quickly fixed. We had a great time and would love to come again!

Thanks again for a great stay! The house was immaculately clean and lovingly furnished. The highlight was definitely the spacious garden and pool. Even though the hosts also lived on the property, they were very discreet and we hardly noticed them. In addition, they always responded quickly and supported us with all possible bookings and recommendations. We highly recommend it!

Ten day stay with adult family of 10. Everyone had their own bedroom, and there was plenty of bathroom space. Best stocked kitchen of any Airbnb we've been to. Had minor electrical problem, which was quickly addressed and fixed. Maid service very nice. Quiet area, very restful. Awesome accommodations!

We had the pleasure of staying at Fabrizios place for 4 nights. We felt right at home and we even received some wine and sweets as a welcome gift. Clean house + freshly washed towels. The pool is very nice and gets cleaned regularly - we also want to mention the nice behaviour of the host throughout our stay. Great place to have some great Bbq‘s at home - we would love to come back.

Nice Airbnb with pool

Thank you to Innocenzo, Gianna and Giuliana for being great hosts. The house was amazing and the views breathtaking. Their restaurant in Town was also great and we ended up eating there two times. If you’re looking for a place with some privacy, a great pool and a close drive to everything, then this is the place for you.

We recommend this stopover, close to Palermo, with practical and functional accommodation, for 2 couples and a 15-month-old baby, in an environment with a beautiful garden and a remarkable swimming pool. We had a fabulous week in this peaceful and beautiful location. The house was well equipped and the pool area was very relaxing with stunning views towards Pettineo village and the hills and valley. An ideal place to enjoy the outdoors, there is an outdoor sheltered dining area and BBQ. You can walk into the village from the house where we found a lovely cafe/bar. Visited Palermo, Cefalu and The Valley of the Temples at Agrigento (allow at least 2 and a half hours to get there). You need a car to get about. Be aware of some winding roads and the track to the house and village is rough, but fine once you get used to it. Thank you Francesco, you were the perfect host!

Leanne's place is perfect if you want a real break from the city life and enjoy a calm and beautiful countryside. The house is big, and the swimming very enjoyable. The main village is just 10 minutes away by car and you can find amazing food and cheese over there. It's magnificent and the local people are extremely welcoming.
