Charming private room in a farmhouse

Our farmhouse is situated at the famous black forest western hiking trail and on a hill with views overlooking three countries. Our guest room offers a small kitchen unit with a fridge where our guests can prepare breakfast and cold meals. There is no water supply in the bedroom but in the spacious bathroom opposite. You can find restaurants from vegan, traditional to haute cusine within a less than a mile. There are buses to Basel, Lörrach and Kandern. By car it takes 20 minutes to Basel.

Close to nature & stylish living in the old farmhouse

The apartment is in the small district of Karsau, which belongs to Rheinfelden (Baden). In an almost 200-year-old farmhouse overlooking our farm animals (horses/sheep/cat/dog/chickens) you can relax wonderfully. Basel can be reached in 20 minutes by car/train. Beuggen train station is within walking distance (1.5 km). Right next door is a children's playground and the forest with beautiful walking and cycling trails is a few minutes' walk away. By train, you can reach the heart of Basel in 15 minutes.

Apartment "Feldberg" in idyllic Black Forest mountain village

Pfaffenberg is a small village at 700 meters above sea level above the Wiesen Valley with proximity to Switzerland and France. Our Black Forest house with a south-facing location offers up to three guests a cozy stay. The border triangle allows a variety of cultural and sporting leisure activities. I have traveled a lot myself, speak good German, English, French, Spanish and a little Italian and am always very happy about guests from near and far.

Alte Färberei Entire place

The old dyeing plant, a 19th-century factory, was expanded for mixed use. In addition to apartments, workshops and medical practices, guest rooms were built under the shed roofs of the factory halls. It was important to us to give the old building structure a new use and to make it tangible. We were able to completely preserve the building envelope and reuse renovated components in other contexts. New components were left in their natural state.

Efringen-Kirchen bakery

The apartment, renovated in 2023, was formerly an old bakery and is located on a 16th century farmstead. century in the core village of Efringen-Kirchen. After decades of neglect, it has been given a new shine piece by piece in recent years with loving attention to detail. We want to offer vacationers, business travelers and travelers looking for a last stop before or after the Swiss border an uncomplicated and pleasant stay.

Beautiful one room apartment with fantastic views of Rheinfelden at the foot of the Dinkelberg. A large outdoor seating area in the garden with sun loungers and covered dining area invites you to linger. Sheets and towels are provided. WiFi is available free of charge.
