Monthly Rentals in Matten bei Interlaken

We enjoyed our 4 night stay at Tom’s lovely Jungfrau apartment. This quiet location is close to bustops, restaurants (we so enjoyed the delicious Hungarian dishes at Hoppla Bistro, a 5 minutes walk away, we went back a second time!) and a short walk into the centre of town. We love the perfect view of Jungfrau from the living room! It is also a good base for day trips. The apartment is modern and clean, with everything one needs for a comfortable stay. Tom has thought through all the details, for example, even providing umbrellas, kitchen spices, mood candles, and a drying rack! One thing to note is that hot water can run out if you’re not careful. It happened only once to us and Tom told us that unfortunately, there is an energy law in Switzerland that you can only heat the hot water tank at night. He’s always quick to respond to our questions. We had a wonderful time! Thanks, Tom.

Great place! About a 10 minute walk from the train station. Very quiet and had all we needed.

Beautiful place.Have all the pots, plates, Silverware you need. Very clean. Host let you know Everything you need to know, Might be a keke pricey but hey it's Switzerland, Everything pricey there...If you like quiet, This the place and area you need to be in(Interlaken ost) but Everything close early. Interlaken west have majority of the restaurants and like a 20 min walk which is not bad or take a short bus ride. Train station is walking distance or short bus ride as well ... It was 2 couples that stayed at this home and overall we all enjoyed it.

All good, however it will be more convenient for the host to handle the recycling garbage rather than assign to the foreigners who visit Switzerland, take me quite some time to find a place and get understood the local language to recycle the bottles.
