Sundari Retreat

Serene and welcoming,Sundari Retreat was built in 2008 and is close to all amenities in Otaki. My home is bordering a very pretty farm and is sunny and private. Sundari is a self contained cottage on my property and is decorated in Balinese style with a bamboo ceiling and solid timber floors. The furnishings and artwork are also Indonesian as is the sub-tropical garden and deck area. Two minutes drive away are all the cafe's, restaurants,shops and heated swimmimg pool. You will find a boutique movie theatre in Waikanae, 15 mins drive from Otaki. 5mins walk to Skintech Beauty clinic for great massages/nails etc. 10 mins drive to Te Horo , head towards the beach and you will find Kirsty's bus stop cafe in Sims Rd. The bus is situated amid a gorgeous coastal garden. Kirsty is an ex deli owner and caterer. I guarantee you won't be able to resist her treats! Head off to the beach,walk in the bush,play golf, go mad in the outlet shops or do nothing at all! What ever you need to relax and spoil yourself, the choice is yours! Soak in the outside bath under the stars! Fabulous brick outside fireplace is also great for cosying up to under the stars. If there are 3 of you I do have a very comfortable retro caravan on the section that can be hired for an extra cost. That person would have to use the studio bathroom facilities. A continental breakfast is included in the room rate. Relax 10 minutes from town in a charming country cottage with all mod cons. Close enough to amenities to explore town but quiet enough to see and hear the tui's, kereru and Ruru (morepork owls) at night. There is a creek running through the bottom paddock for kids to splash in or explore for eels while you enjoy the sun on the patio. The Gecko Bach maybe small but is big on comfort- we have thought of everything you might need including an outdoor bath & use of our spa . A 1 -2min walk to coffee & walking tracks; 8-10 min walk to mall, supermarkets, train/bus station, library, restaurants, cafes. Raumati Beach & shops are only a 20min walk or catch the bus, (bus stop outside the gate!) We are a smoke/vape free property. Listed for 3 but can fit 4 at a push. Fig Tree Cottage is on the edge of Greytown with a country outlook. We are 15 mins walking to the cafes and shops. Newly renovated 60s style but with modern conveniences, next to our barns on a small lifestyle block. The cottage is private with own car parking space. Our home is across the garden and we like to welcome guests . We have two small terriers, a golden retriever, and a tuxedo cat who are all very friendly. We also have livestock (usually sheep) in the adjoining paddocks.
