Cabin vacation rentals in Martiny Township

Nice and quiet, beach safe for kids. Had kayak and paddle board available for use each day. Loved being able to bring our dog!!! Bonfire wood readily available and hammocks to relax in. Plenty of room for cars and pontoon. Really enjoyable!!!

This was our second stay at Cathy's Cabin. As always the cabin was clean and welcoming, just put the cooler contents in the fridge and begin enjoying the stay. I enjoy this lake. It reminds me very much of my grandparents lake cottage. Late May is still cool weather in Michigan and Cathy's brother made a special effort to get the pontoon boat ready for us. We enjoyed being out on the water and trying our hands at fishing. I caught a northern pike at the north end of the lake, Khi caught some small walleye right off the dock. For guests in the warmer weather there is every kind of summertime toys imaginable in the shed, kayaks etc... We would definitely look forward to returning to Cathy's Cabin again.

Croton House is a wonderful, comfortable, relaxing place to stay. The deck over looking the lake is perfect. We had a great time in the lake using the provided kayaks. It is the perfect lake to kayak on if you you are a novice like me. We really enjoyed swimming in the lake, as well. I did not notice in the description that it is important to bring water shoes, I may have missed that. We were able to buy some in town but had we known, we would have brought them from home. Be sure to bring them if you plan to go in the lake, which I highly recommend (so refreshing). We loved staying here and would request to book it again if we ever find ourselves in the area again.

Midge was an incredible host, extremely friendly and hopeful. The house was spotless, beautifully decorated for the holidays, with beautiful views on the local lake! This was the perfect staycation for our family & we look forward to all the future stays.

Rating: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ (5/5) I had a fantastic stay at Dawn Marie’s place! The property was exactly as described, very clean, comfortable, and in a great location. Check-in was smooth, and communication with the host was easy and quick. The space had everything I needed, including plenty of smart TVs and Wi-Fi, kitchen essentials, and a very comfortable beds. plenty of games provided I especially appreciated the coffee provide it was a great touch and made our mornings even better. The view of the water was perfect and truly added to the relaxing atmosphere. On top of that, the place is a smart home, which was really awesome to have it was super convenient and made everything feel modern and easy to use. I would definitely stay here again and recommend it to anyone visiting Harrison. Thank you, for a awesome experience

A quiet, peaceful weekend after the Memorial Day rush. I was able to go Mountain biking, kayaking, and enjoy the area with my dog. Also, it was just a nice place to stay inside and relax. Close to a lot of things, but far enough away to feel secluded.

Jeff and Ashlee are both amazing. We felt so at home. The cabin was more than we hoped for. You feel like you’re sitting right on the beach from pretty much anywhere in the cabin. We started looking for availability for our next trip before we even left. We already miss the two Eagles and the mallard ducks! It was our 47th anniversary and staying in the fishbowl made it perfect. Don’t have one negative thing to say.

My husband and I stayed here to celebrate our anniversary and had the most relaxing time! We brought our boat, fished the lake, kayaked and sat at the fire. There’s also a golf course 8 minutes away and a decent place to eat very close that had outdoor seating. It was exactly as expected for a fair price!

We loved the property of this cabin. It was beautiful and well maintained. The river was one of my favorite spots to read or have my morning coffee. There were many perks and amenities to this place that weren't listed online, like hammocks, campfire pokers, blow-dryer, yard games, fire pit, folding chairs, plastic storage containers, etc. And I loved all the buffalo plaid decor all around. The signs and decor were really nice too, So much to look at. My family had plenty of room inside the cabin to sleep and have their own space. There was also lots of outdoor seating and space outside on the property to come together for dinner or games. Nina was very responsive and gave clear instructions for entering and leaving the property. She was polite and made our stay pleasant. We would stay at this property again.

It was just the quiet stay we were looking for. The kids enjoyed the hot tub, Cornhole, and fire pit.

We really enjoyed staying here for a five year anniversary getaway and relaxation. Our pup got her zoomies out and even explored by the River! We would definitely book again! Both Frank and Kaylee were responsive if we had any questions and great hosts!

We had a wonderful getaway at Maggie’s place. We loved everything from the decor to the stocked kitchen and the gorgeous yard. You can tell that Maggie pays close attention to details- anticipating everything that guests may need. The hot tub on the screened-in porch was absolutely perfect. Everyone in our group slept great in the comfy beds. Plenty of linens, sound machines, ceiling fans, and heat and AC. We lucked out with perfect weather so we were able to sleep with the windows open and wake up to the sound of birds which added to a perfect relaxing weekend with old friends. We were even able to enjoy some yoga in the well-kept backyard. We are already talking about when we all get away again so we can come back!

A great house!

A wonderful place!! Beautiful and peaceful! We had 8 people and it fit everyone comfortably! Plenty of space for kiddos to run around and play. Perfect for a weekend getaway, highly recommend!

Franks place was exactly what I was looking for. Close to family nearby, space for my kids to run, and a house that felt like home. Couldnt recommend it enough! We did not end up using many amenities he had to offer, but they were readily available to us if we wanted. Will look foward to staying again in the future.

Me, my wife and dog had the most relaxing couple of day stay. The lake was geogeous, the cabin was cozy, was just what we wanted

It was a real treat to stay in the national forest. I miss it already! If our daughter stays in Manistee we will be back.

This is the second time I've stayed. For personal reasons, I had to leave early, but the hosts were very gracious and kind. The house is great and comfortable as always. The host is always easy to reach and great to speak with. I hope to make more trips here in the future for some rest away from home!

We enjoyed our stay it was a cozy place! Would def recommend for couples or adults/people with older kids. It was a little hard with little kids (6-2yr olds) just because I didn’t want them to mess anything up but it did fine:)

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at Yellow Door Lodge! The place is beautifully designed — cozy, stylish, and thoughtfully put together in every corner. It felt like a perfect home away from home. Rex was incredibly responsive and went out of his way to make our stay as comfortable as possible. His warm hospitality truly made a difference and added to the overall experience. Our dog, Puntu, had a great time too — it’s such a pet-friendly spot! He enjoyed exploring and relaxing just as much as we did. The lakeside area was a highlight. We spent some peaceful time there soaking in the view, and it added to the whole relaxing vibe of the trip. Highly recommend this place for anyone looking for a peaceful, well-designed getaway with great hosts!

We reserved this Airbnb so we could attend a Celebration of Life for my dear cousin, who had lived in Houghton Lake for over 35 years. He sadly passed away in February of this year. My husband and I have rented through Airbnb for 10 years, but always further north. We were very pleased with the rental and will definitely rent from them again. Love what they are doing to the back yard and can’t wait to come back up and use the fire pit. The home was very clean, spacious and nicely decorated and furnished. We would recommend this renting this home.

So happy with our stay! So many trout to see in the river, and even though there's a neighbor nearby, it felt so secluded. Amenities were great, and Jordan was very quick to respond to any questions we had. Highly recommend!
