Beachfront vacation rentals in Martinique Beach

Our stay at Terence Bay was incredible. The location is stunning—right on the beach with beautiful views of a lighthouse. My kids loved being able to climb on the rocks, go hiking along the seashore and even find sea glass right in the backyard! We couldn’t have asked for more and my family didn’t want our time to end! The property was spotless and even better than the pictures. Our two kids especially loved the bunk bed room. Falling asleep to the sound of the ocean was pure bliss. Danielle, our host, was fantastic—always helpful and attentive. You could tell that she genuinely cared about us having a great trip. She offered us tips and help when needed. We’ll definitely be recommending this spot to our friends and family.

From the moment we arrived at this charming cottage, we were blown away by the breathtaking view. It made every sunrise and sunset feel magical. The amenities were equally impressive. The cottage was clean, and beautifully decorated, and stocked with everything we needed - from a fully stocked kitchen to linens and even games for a rainy day. The location was fantastic, as we were just minutes away from local grocery stores and a mix of eateries - perfect for grabbing a quick bite or enjoying a leisurely dinner. Plus, the area is packed with sightseeing adventures and historic landmarks to hidden gems we discovered along the way. This place felt like home away from home and we can’t wait to go back again!

I booked Wilson Coastal Club 5 for 3 nights, and it was absolutely perfect. The room was beautifully set up clean, cozy, and with an incredible water view right from the window. Waking up to that every morning was such a treat! The entire property has a peaceful, inviting atmosphere. One of our favorite moments was spending a relaxing evening in the wood-fired hot tub and sauna with a private ocean view. It was such a cozy and intimate way to unwind. We also enjoyed quiet walks along the shore and soaking in the calm surroundings. The staff and the host were so friendly and helpful always available to answer any questions and made sure we had everything we needed. The host even checked in during our stay to make sure we were doing okay, which was very thoughtful. The location is great close to the highway, so it’s easy to get to Halifax. There’s also a nearby supermarket and gas station. Plus, Peggy’s Cove and Lunenburg are just a short drive away. Thank you, for hosting us :)

The home was cozy and beautiful. The host was very accommodating and let us do an early check-in and late check-out. The view from the dining room was spectacular. This home is uniquely placed for the best view of this waterfront. There are little signs in the home of things to do in the neighbourhood, places to eat at, and clear instructions on how to look after the home. The home is tastefully decorated and has nice artwork everywhere. I particularly liked the black and white florals in the living room, the lighthouse painted on wood and the Maud Lewis print.

This was a perfect getaway home. Very comfortable and relaxing. A great view of the ocean. The front windows let in so much of the morning light ; I absolutely loved hanging out in front of the window in a big comfy chair or sitting on the front porch drinking coffee in the mornings and wine in the evenings. One does have to drive to get anywhere but the drives are relaxing and the scenery is beautiful. Grocery stores only a few miles away. A great beach also a few miles away. We weren’t able to experience any local restaurants unless there was outdoor seating as we had our dog, a Great Dane, with us. But that was completely okay with us as we just really wanted to get away from the craziness of the world for a week! The host was very responsive when we had questions and very friendly. Highly recommend this little charm!

This was the most amazing place. We spent a week here and Everything you needed or wanted was right in this place. The surroundings were peaceful, very inviting. Gillian checked in with us halfway through our stay to see if we needed anything. The beds were very comfy. The firepit is beautiful there was a fully stacked wood pile to use for the fire. There were lots of chairs all around to sit outside or out by the the dock. We would stay again in a heartbeat. Thank you Gillian and Scott for your hospitality.

Our group of four had a fantastic experience staying at Quinpool. From the moment we booked, the host was incredibly proactive and kind, making sure every detail was taken care of in advance. Communication was clear and timely, which made our entire trip smooth and completely stress-free. The property itself was clean, comfortable, and exactly as described—ideal for a relaxing stay. We truly appreciated the thoughtful touches and the warm hospitality. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a seamless and welcoming Airbnb experience!

We had our daughter and her family with us and we all enjoyed the cottage. The view is spectacular, the home is comfortable and our grandsons loved beach combing on the private beach every day! I highly recommend this place for families or even a group of friends.

The secret beach house was exactly as described and very comfortable. It is surrounded by beautiful beach and peaceful environment. The place has well stocked amenities in the bathroom and kitchen. Courtenay is a very gracious host and was able to accommodate our special request. She was very kind to provide the option of early check and late check out. This airbnb has high quality amenities and furnishings throughout. Courtenay is very friendly and responsive. Watching the ducks run through the yard was a pleasure to watch. They are adorable. Would recommend the place to anyone looking for an amazing guest experience.

Blue Forest Shores is truly an amazing getaway for us and we would definitely come back when we’re in Nova Scotia again. We stayed at the Boat house which has beautiful view and is very private. Our hosts, Yaro, Savayda, and Wouter are extremely nice and genuine and we actually felt like visiting our family home. Thank you so much for your amazing hospitality and we will see you again!

This place is stunning! Within 5 minutes of arriving we knew this was going to be a great trip. Richie was very helpful and the arrival was smooth. The location is so picturesque; the view is amazing. The 3 beaches are completely private. The walk through the small path to the rocks was a great discovery and we spent time just sitting on the rocks enjoying the scenery. The house is beautiful and everything you could possibly need was provided. Even the towels were so soft and fluffy. The wood burning stove was a real treat on a chilly evening. The house is spotlessly clean and very well decorated. It’s a quiet area but not far from Peggy’s Cove or Halifax. Overall I can recommend this property enough. If Richie ever decides to sell I’ll be first in the queue. Overall a fantastic stay and we’ll definitely be back. Thanks Richie :)

We came for the Hunter Moon and fell in love with the sunsets and walking on the beach. Lots of places to explore in the area.

This place is exactly what you need to relax and enjoy the beauty of the coastline! The smart home aspect creates a beautiful ambiance and comfort. You can not beat the view! Kevin has it all set up perfect! Wish we could've stayed longer and can't wait to come back!

Tanya's place was our #1 favorite Airbnb that was stayed at during our mother/daughter trip around Nova Scotia. The location is secluded but you are a short 15 minute drive to restaurants and another 15 max to Peggy's Cove. The house is so beautiful and amazing that is actually sits on top of a rock (the front porch is the rock)! Many opportunities to sit outside and enjoy the beautiful view of the water. The beds were THE most comfortable and amenities like washer and dryer were great as well. We chatted with Tanya the morning we were leaving and she gave us a walk around of future plans for another building on site, which only lead to my mom and I making the immediate decision that we WILL BE BACK! Next time we will stay for longer than just one night, it is worth spending several days here.

Our stay was very comfortable and enjoyable. It is situated right next to the ocean and the sound of the waves was relaxing. Perfect place to escape to.

Above and Beyond Booked this trip for a group of 7 guys in our early 30s, and it couldn’t have worked out better. Everyone had their own bed, and the space was the perfect size for us with all the facilities we needed. The views were stunning. I knew it was on the ocean, but wow - photos really don’t do it justice. While we were there, some of us spotted seals and even saw a whale — a pretty exciting wildlife moment. Not sure how common that is, but it was a highlight for us, being from out of province . Uber does reach the property, which made a night out in Halifax easy, though we also rented a car to get around — both options worked well. Huge thanks to the hosts. We’d love to come back

Great location on a very clean and peaceful lake. Swimming , kayaks and paddleboards are available right off the private dock. My son and I enjoyed paddling around the lake with islands, walking trails and a natural area with diving board to explore. The house is on a peninsula so while it’s very private , you also get pretty views on 3 sides. The house is stocked with everything you need for meals, movie watching , games (indoor & outdoor) as wells as a fire pit area. Very rustic feel but everything clean and air conditioned so we were comfortable when we did spend time in the house. Lastly , we were able to get to the Halifax waterfront for a very enjoyable meal in only 35 mins. Closer options in Sackville & Dartmouth as well. We also appreciated having a large Sobey’s grocery store only 10 min drive away.

The house was amazing - it was beautiful, big, very clean, and had everything we needed during our stay. Emily was very responsive, provided clear instructions, and had an info/ welcome package available for us at check in. While the house is beautiful, the view is absolutely incredible. Even though it rained throughout our stay, we took every chance we could to be on the balcony or kayaking in the water. White lakes was in the middle of everything we wanted to do and had no trouble getting Ubers to and from the house when we reserved in advance. Overall our stay was amazing and all of our guests (ranging in age from 2 to 82) had a great time and the perfect getaway.

It was an interesting stay for the host and for our group. First, I got a message that the air conditioning had failed the day before we arrived and the repair people were not available until after our stay. So the hosts put fans in all of the rooms! Then the hurricane came and it was not safe to stay. We left the day the hosts were coming to secure the house for the storm. And they initiated a refund for the days we could not stay! You can’t ask for more from hosts! The house is lovely and a great place to stay!

Beautiful spot for a weekend away with the girls! Very peaceful and clean juts as described!
