I stayed at Mark's incredible chalet for 4 weeks, and I couldn't be happier with the unforgettable experience. The location is even beyond what's described: the view of the Alps and the Rhone valley is so glorious it'll leave you breathless on a daily basis. So many properties emphasize a great view, but this is one of those rare times when reality is even better! The chalet itself is situated in a very quiet area and the house is virtually soundproof. Even with all the windows open, you'll rarely hear anything but the birds and the breeze. The chalet is very clean and modern, and the kitchen is a special treat -- experienced cooks will love it, nothing is lacking. It's also close to almost everything in Crans-Montana. Mark is a fantastic host. He was quick to answer all my questions, gave me recommendations, and was very easy and reasonable. That's a huge plus for any traveler. Overall, this was a memorable trip, due in large part to one of the best properties you will EVER rent.

We stayed for a week, the chalet was perfect for 2 people, very cosy and extremely well equipped. We enjoyed relaxing in the garden space. Peaceful area, good for chilling out. Great base to explore around les Houches and Chamonix area, we did quite a lot of hiking. Pauline was very friendly and easy to communicate with. We would come back again without hesitation!

Everything was perfect. The place was extremely remarkably clean, the rooms in very good condition, the living room beautiful and the kitchen very well equipped. We really had a great time!

Their place is gorgeous, it was even better than what I expected from the photos. Every room is tastefully decorated in a cozy way, we felt right at home. There was a wonderful basket of toys for our kids to play with. The view from the back terrace and garden is simply amazing. We all loved spending time out in the garden enjoying the view. The place is very comfortable and well equipped, and private. Easy parking, good communication, annd warm welcome on arrival. And the view, the view, the view!! Gladly would stay again.

9.5/10 Review for Max Chalet Gimmelwald Max Chalet was perfect for our family of three—a fantastic base for a mountain getaway! Surroundings: Gimmelwald is stunning, with hiking right outside the door. We loved the Northface Trail and the easy gondola access to Mürren, Schilthorn, and the valley. Parking at Stechelberg was only $10/day. Entertainment: Hiking was our main activity—beautiful trails and mountain huts. Pension Gimmelwald and Mountain Hostel next door offer meals, drinks, and great pizza (8.5/10). Food: Dining options nearby, more in Mürren, and a grocery store for essentials to cook at Max. The House: Spacious, cozy, clean, with big windows framing epic views. Well-equipped kitchen, laundry room, and a great patio. Quiet at night (bring a fan for white noise). Floors creak but didn’t bother us. Host: Marianne was super responsive and helpful. Summary: We’d absolutely stay again—9.5/10! (We’ve never given a 10, so this is top marks from us!)

Very clean, comfortable and well-equipped accommodation. The environment is beautiful: green, quiet and with stunning views of Mont Blanc. We even had a visit from 2 very friendly cats and 1 very friendly dog. Hosts with good advice and available We highly recommend this perfect place for a few vacation days

If you are thinking of staying here, do it! This is an amazing home and somehow even better in person. It’s very close to the train station (we walked it with a baby and luggage and had no issue. No steep incline and mostly paved). Jacuzzi spa, sauna and laundry in the basement. Tucked away on a quiet street but right in the middle of town (next to the oldest hotel in zermatt). Marc was extremely helpful, accommodating and friendly. This spot is more of a 5 star hotel with the extra space and private amenities. We would come back in a heartbeat. Beyond impressed. There’s a reason why the reviews are all glowing.

Very clean and updated chalet in great location. Very comfortable beds and linen. Cozy fireplace with kindling and plenty of wood. Full kitchen and solid dining table perfect to accommodate all guests. Heated floors throughout was a treat. Overall 10/10.

A great place for 2 families, or for a larger group, has everything you need and more! Fantastic views, peaceful surrounding and enough space to enjoy and relax. Nicole was very responsive and helpful. We would definitely recommend her place.

Very nice chalet that corresponds exactly to the pictures. The hosts are very nice and did the check-in in person. The amenities are very extensive, especially in the kitchen, but also in terms of high chairs and beds. The location is good overall, but a car is almost mandatory. You usually look into the countryside and see the mountains, but a noise from the highway can also be heard. There are very few criticisms, but two that you should know: There are a lot of ants and flies in the house, probably due to a lack of sealing. In addition, there is no shading in the living area, which means that even at outside temperatures of only 20 degrees, the temperature in the living room can very quickly reach around 30 degrees (due to the many windows). Somewhat unclear how this can be handled in the summer, probably hardly feasible without air conditioning. Overall, however, we were very satisfied, the price/performance ratio is right.

The chalet is beautiful and the views from the balcony are incredible! Everyone agreed this was the best stay of our trip. We felt very comfortable here. 10/10 would recommend

Fantastic Chalet for a Ski Getaway! We had an amazing stay at this chalet! Everything was in pristine condition, and the space was thoughtfully designed for comfort and convenience. The kitchen was fully equipped with everything we needed to cook meals, and the large refrigerator, washer, and dryer were a huge help for a ski trip. The beds were incredibly comfortable, ensuring a great night’s sleep after long days on the slopes. The ground-floor kitchenette was a great bonus, and the hosts were very accommodating, even providing baby cots for us. Dominique and her husband were exceptionally friendly and welcoming, speaking excellent English and making us feel right at home. The views from the chalet were absolutely stunning, and its location was perfect—just a short 10-minute drive to Les Houches and around 15 minutes to Chamonix. We couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay and would absolutely return. Highly recommend!

The stay in this fabulous chalet was just amazing. And we really enjoyed the relaxing sauna and fireplace evenings. The surrounding with the lake and the mountains is just stunning. The chalet itself is very well equipped with everything you need especially the kitchen. We totally recommend this chalet.

very nice house! It has all the amenities you need and it is extremely close to the beach and to a nice park. Also nice garden with barbecue and a lot of play stuff. The kitchen is perfect. It was self check-in and there were no instructions, so at first some things, like sorting trash and using the TV, were difficult. I would definitely recommend this house. It was perfect for a group of 10 adults.

Beautiful views over looking the lake and the mountains. The hike up to the place is totally worth it and Gerard was a star for bringing the quad bike and transporting the luggage up.

Pleasant camping with friendly residents and helpful staff. Ideal for us as a family with two children! We also enjoyed the proximity to the lake to the fullest.
