Great stay! Communication with host was perfect. Apartment is big and spacious with everything you need and more. Location is good as well, not too far from the center, ~15min by car. Free private parking right in front of the house as well. Would stay again!

Gabi was always easy to reach and flexible. The apartment is tastefully decorated, cozy and very clean.

Anja came to our rescue after we had a disappointing vacation stay with another provider. Fortunately, Anja was very quick to respond and we were able to go to her the very next day! She saved our vacation and came up with fun suggestions for things to do nearby. We were three (2 + dog) and could therefore enjoy the apartment and the available garden. Hereby the advice to keep the dog on a leash in the garden because it is attached to the garden area where Anja is staying ;). All in all, we had a very nice time where the apartment and the green surroundings where it is located really gave us peace and made a very pleasant vacation after a somewhat moderate start. Beautiful house with breathtaking views over Lake Baldeney. The house has everything you need for a good time in Essen, everything very high quality and even personal, which you can't find in every typical Airbnb. Throughout the house you can enjoy music in the best quality, for example through Spotify. Also, the house has a fully equipped modern kitchen with everything you need and even several fully automatic coffee machines. You can grill in the garden with a weaver or relax in your own house which has a heated hot tub and sauna. The hosts Clemens and Mr. Siegler are very friendly, extremely hospitable and are always easily accessible. No matter what I asked, everything was always done to make you feel comfortable. We spent 2 weeks in Frank’s house. Every room is big as the photo.Shower room is big and very clean.Frank and Anja take care of the house and the garden very neatly. We left in a hurry and clean the house try our best.I’d like to live here again.

The apartment is located in a quiet neighborhood in the middle of Essen. There are very good shopping facilities (Aldi, Lidl, Rewe), several bakeries and restaurants within walking distance. The apartment is very tastefully furnished and looks exactly like the photos. We particularly liked the brick wall with the timber frame and the wooden floorboards. There is a balcony to the courtyard and the kitchen is great! Rüdiger is a great host. He greeted us personally, which we found very nice, especially since he had to wait for us. He had a lot of good tips for bike tours and activities in Essen and the surrounding area. Essen is an ideal starting point for excursions in and around the Ruhr area. The musical "Starlight Express," for example, is 25 minutes by car. We really enjoyed the days and would be happy to come back.
