Vacation rentals with a fireplace in Marina di Mancaversa-Giannelli

A comfy home with beautiful high vaulted ceilings. It has a huge rooftop terrace where you can enjoy a drink at the end of the day. Massimo was easy to communicate with and kind enough to swap mattresses so the firmest one was on the down stairs bed for us. There is a quite steep, winding and narrow staircase to get into the apartment and more to get to the second bedroom and also the rooftop terrace which adds to its charm but may not be suitable for the elderly and unfit. Its in a very quiet location only 10 minute walk from the station and only a few minutes to bars and restaurants.

The descriptions and pictures are very accurate. The apartment is easy to find if you don’t use google maps directions/navigation. The most direct route is to follow the “lungomare”, turn at AMU restaurant, and proceed to number 10. The apartment is on several floors, without an elevator. There are 65 steps from the street to the rooftop terrazzo and kitchen. Each bedroom is on a separate stop along the stairs below the kitchen floor. The apartment is the best equipped of any apartment in which we’ve stayed over a period of 12 years. Francoise is very helpful and responsive. She provided a great deal of local info and recommendations. Also, she can arrange for a parking garage; street parking is non-existent.

Wow! Vincenzo och Giulia var fantastiska värdar. Huset går inte ens att beskriva med bilder, med alla olika vackra terrasser, utsikten, trädgården och sköna rum. Vårt bästa Airbnb-boende hittills - de var medgörliga, extremt vänliga och hjälpsamma. Vi är så tacksamma att vi hittade detta otroliga ställe! Kommer definitivt tillbaka. Castro är dessutom en superfin lagom stor by med trevliga människor nära havet och många andra byar. Tack snälla!

Giuseppina et Mirco ont un grand sens de l'hospitalité. Très respectueux de votre tranquillité, ils sont attentifs et chaleureux. La location correspond parfaitement au descriptif. Elle est très bien équipée et extrêmement propre. Située idéalement, elle vous permettra de rayonner alentours et découvrir la région. Outre la gentillesse de Giuseppina et Mirco, la terrasse est le plus de cette location.

A wonderful four night stay in the historic centre of Lecce. The apartment/house was larger than expected. Perfect for families or friends travelling together. Giorgia was a great host, meeting us early at the apartment so we could store our cases. She provided drinks and breakfast food. All those little extras make for a special stay. I highly recommend a stay at Giorgia’s house.

What a lovely tucked away little place this is. The appartment is designed with taste, respect for history, all the comfort you could wish for. Kitchen very complete. A lovely flowered terrace to have your morning tea or breakfast. No wifi (yet?), but we did not miss it a bit. (On the nearby Piazza Salandra you can find free wifi). In the heart of the historic centre, with shops, cafes, restaurants, a central supermarket, everything one might think of nearby, just 2 minutes. Yet it is very quiet and secluded. Nardò itself is very elegant and pleasant. We would love to come again to this little place of Andrea and Maria. Thank you very much. Tot ziens!

We had the most amazing time at the Masseria! The property is beautifully curated … rooms full of character and quirky details, spacious and most of all homely . The large outdoor area allows for al fresco dining and plenty of socialising. Beautiful pool area and gardens …the attention to detail is incredible. Thank you Francesca for creating such a wonderful home and allowing us to share it !

Wir hatten einen wundervollen Aufenthalt in Alessandras stilvollem Appartement und dem charmanten Städtchen Nardó! Das Appartement ist sehr gut ausgestattet, liegt direkt im historischen Zentrum und ist mit Liebe zum Detail eingerichtet. Nardó eignet sich wunderbar, um die umliegenden Strände und Städte zu erkunden und bietet selbst eine sehr gute Infrastruktur. Die Kommunikation mit Alessandra war jederzeit sehr herzlich und unkompliziert - ihre Gastfreundschaft war wirklich bemerkenswert! Wir können diese Unterkunft wärmsten empfehlen und kommen gerne wieder in diesen wunderschönen Fleck Italiens :)

We absolutely loved our stay in the Artist's Apartment and would recommend to anyone visiting Lecce! The space had everything we needed and a beautiful terrace, with a hammock - perfect for relaxing after seeing the city. The shower is very small but this didn't bother us. The place is walkable to the beautiful old town and has air-con. The host let us in slightly early which was really helpful and appreciated. The flat was beautiful and had fun quirky art everywhere - we loved our stay!

Davide was super responsive and friendly, we enjoyed our stay the apartment is full of details and clean. We arrive later than plan he was super flexible on the check-in.

Etant un excellent hôte ,Guiseppe nous attendait à notre arrivé afin de nous guider et nous donner les informations nécessaires au bon fonctionnement de l’appartement . Nous avons adoré et apprécié qu’il partage avec nous l’histoire de son magnifique logement,transmis dans sa famille depuis très longtemps ,ainsi que les transformations qu’il y a apportées. Nous recherchions un endroit tranquille bien situé et nous l’avons trouvé à Carpignano , un excellent pied à terre pour visiter la région ! Je vous le recommande

Il nostro soggiorno a Castrignano del Capo è stato un vero sogno! La casa di Lorenzo è un autentico gioiello: curata con gusto nei minimi dettagli, accogliente e immersa nella quiete più assoluta. Incantevole il terrazzo, affacciato su un uliveto secolare che regala una pace difficile da descrivere a parole. Un’esperienza sensoriale e rigenerante. Un grande merito va anche a Lorenzo, alla mamma Antonella e al papà Pietro, sempre disponibili e attenti. Ci hanno accolti con calore, fornendoci consigli preziosi sui luoghi da visitare, sui ristoranti tipici e sulle spiagge più belle. Sempre presenti se necessario, ma con grande discrezione. La posizione è ideale: in pochi minuti si raggiungono le meravigliose spiagge del Salento e i borghi autentici dell’entroterra salentino. Castrignano è un paesino tranquillo ma vivo, con gente cordiale e disponibile. È il posto perfetto per chi cerca bellezza, silenzio, natura e autenticità. Abbiamo lasciato un pezzo di cuore qui! Straconsigliato!

This place is stunning! We sat on the terrace and enjoyed the view all day. We did a grocery shop prior to arriving, cooked/bbq’d without issue (plenty of cooking utensils/dishes), and ate al fresco when the weather permitted. We did laundry and everything air-dried quickly in the sun and breeze. Did a beautiful coastal drive. Loved everything about this place. Assunta gave great recommendations, met us to review everything, and was very responsive to the few questions we had. The bed was super comfy too. Oh and did I mention THE VIEW? Tons of storage to keep the bedroom uncluttered. Assunta provided snacks (loved the cookies), rusks, taralli, and a bottle of wine too! We would love to return year after year! It’s a WOW!

I would give this place and host 6 stars if I could! It’s a HUGE apartment that’s part of a palazzo built in the 1400s. Luigia is the most charming, warm, friendly and helpful host ever! She makes you feel at home and does so many thoughtful things like stocking the fridge with food and beverage items, walking you through the place with the right level of detail and even made my restaurant reservations for me like a concierge. The location is 2 mini blocks off the main square yet tranquil as can be. And the bed is the most comfortable of my 5 weeks in Italy thus far! I love Lecce, this place and this host! Can’t wait to return.

A nossa estadia com Gaetano foi ótima. A Casa é maravilhosa e decorada com muito bom gosto. Gaetano sempre nos ajudou quando precisávamos e a sua mãe foi também muito prestável. Sentimo-nos em casa e passamos uma semana maravilhosa. obrigada

Ich hatte einen großartigen Aufenthalt! Die Unterkunft war genauso wie beschrieben – geschmackvoll eingerichtet und mit allem ausgestattet, was man braucht. Die Lage war perfekt: ruhig, aber trotzdem gut angebunden. Besonders gefallen hat mir der Aussenbereich mit Pool. Bea war super freundlich, hilfsbereit und immer erreichbar. Ich würde jederzeit wiederkommen – absolute Empfehlung!

La casa corrisponde alle foto, ampia, spaziosa e il giardino bello e comodo. La posizione è strategica per raggiungere le spiagge di baia verde a piedi e i locali nei dintorni. Il Sig Antonio è stato sempre molto gentile e disponibile per ogni nostra necessità. Contiamo di tornarci presto!

Stefanias Haus Nicht an einer naturgeschützten Küste, umgeben von einem riesigen Garten mit wunderschönen Pflanzen, von die man von überall das Meer sieht. Wir hatten einen perfekten Aufenthalt ins Stefanias Haus und haben uns extrem wohl gefühlt. Für Menschen, die die Natur lieben, ist dieser Ort ein absolutes Paradies und Stefania ist eine Uneingeschränkt hervorragende Gastgeberin, die zu jederzeit alles tut, damit sich ihre Gäste wohl fühlen. Da wir unseren Hund Anton dabei hatten, war der große Garten auch für ihn ein perfekter Ort. Von dem Gelände aus kann man wunderbare Spaziergänge über kleine Feldwege auch bis hinunter zum Meer machen. Die Küste in dieser Region ist atemberaubend schön mit vielen kleinen buchten und herrlichen Wandermöglichkeiten. Wir können Stefania und ihren paradiesischen Garten uneingeschränkt empfehlen. Ebenso ist das Haus für einen Aufenthalt mitten in der Natur absolut perfekt. Vielen Dank, Stefania für die schönen Tage! Chaya,Toni und Andreas

I booked this villa for my family for a mini trip and everything was perfect. Beautiful house, lovely location and Marco was an exceptional host. Extremely good value for money given the standard of the accommodation. Would absolutley have no hesitation in recommending Marcos place

Unser Aufenthalt in der Villa Giada war einfach traumhaft! Schon der Empfang durch Stefania war unglaublich herzlich – sie begrüßte uns persönlich mit einem liebevollen Willkommenspaket voller regionaler Produkte. Man spürt sofort: Das ist ihr eigenes Haus, und sie teilt es mit großer Freude. Wir waren zu dritt unterwegs und hatten mehr als genug Platz. Das Haus ist clever durchdacht, stilvoll eingerichtet und bietet ein angenehmes Raumklima – man fühlt sich sofort wohl. Auch der große Garten ist ein echtes Highlight: wunderschön angelegt und komplett nutzbar, als wäre man zu Hause. Besonders beeindruckt hat uns die persönliche Betreuung durch Stefania und ihren Mann Francesco. Die beiden haben sich mit so viel Wärme und Aufmerksamkeit um uns gekümmert, dass wir uns eher wie bei Freunden als in einer Ferienunterkunft gefühlt haben. Ein großes Dankeschön – wir würden jederzeit wiederkommen!

Pasamos una gran semana, la casa era fiel a las fotografías del anuncio, estaba muy bien cuidada y el propietario respondía a nuestras demandas. No la aprovechamos mucho porque al final pasábamos el día fuera en las magnificas playas de la región, pero la casa daba mucho juego. En un área tranquila pero no muy lejos de las zonas más frecuentadas. Con aire acondicionado en todas las estancias... ideal para familias o grupos grandes, para aprovechar la barbacoa, piscina y la terraza. Una muy buena experiencia. A repetir!

Könnte ich 10 Sterne vergeben hätten Paolo als Gastgeber und das Haus auch diese verdient! Paolo ist schon bei der Vorbereitung der Reise proaktiv, immer super freundlich und macht große Lust auf den Aufenthalt. Auch während des Aufenthalts hat er sich immer erkundigt ob uns auch an nichts fehlt. Mr. Gino hat uns vor Ort begrüßt und immer nach dem Rechten gesehen. Das Haus, der unglaubliche Garten und der Pool waren noch schöner als auf den Bildern - und diese sind schon gropßartig. Wir waren zum ersten Mal im Salento und wollten viele Ausflüge machen ( Paolo hat super Tipps und Restaurant Empfehlungen! ). Aber da wird das Haus so schön fanden und uns nicht trennen konnten haben wir auf den ein oder anderen Ausflug verzichtet. Dieser Ort ist zu 100% eine Empfehlung.

A beautiful place to explore wider Puglia from. Great host. Would return. Situated just north of Porto Cesareo. Car essential with parking space inside secure perimeter walls. Most sights were 45-90 minute drive. Modern, clean with comfortable furnishings and beds. Well equipped kitchen. Self-catered: 20 mins to nearest Lidl. Short drive to reach restaurants (10 minutes). End of October still warm and sunny in daytime (shorts, t-shirt and slides). Able to swim in small pool (very refreshing though ☺️) and in the sea at nearby beach (5 mins walk: sandy and shallow). Arrived after a severe rain so suffered more with mosquitoes outside which stopped us sitting out in the evenings sadly. Solar-powered hot water very limited (max 2 very short showers). No hot water from kitchen tap. Immersion heater did not seem to get temperature past tepid even after a couple of hours. Would be less of an issue in high summer. Out of season largely was silent around (beach club noise one evening).
