A completely furnished apartment in the basement of our log home (our main residence) on 5 acres of woods above beautiful Shavehead Lake. Entrance into the apartment through a screened in porch and double French doors provides privacy and space to relax and enjoy the beautiful outdoor landscape. A large egress window allows natural sunlight into the bedroom on the opposite side of the wall from the kitchen/dining room/living room. Try our cozy 3 bed, 2.5 bath home complete with amazing waterfront views and a fire pit down by the water; easily sleeps 9+. There are great wineries, breweries, and apple orchards close by and we're only 2 hours from Chicago. There's a row boat, 2 kayaks, and paddle board available. We have min 6 night stay for summer months that is strict unless dates are <3 wks out. Feel free to reach out with any questions!

Come for a relaxing getaway in the country. Cook in our small kitchenette or use our Blackstone or fire pit. Located in a small hobby farm setting with sheep roaming the pasture. We also have a couple cats that claim the pool area as their own. The long driveway and gravel road are perfect for a leisurely stroll to enjoy the great outdoors. Take a swim in the pool or a soak in the hot tub and let the worries of life melt away during your stay.
