Two bedrooms (2×2 m Simmons box-spring bed & a 1.40 m bed with cold-foam mattress). Right outside your door: forests, hiking trails & pure nature, plus castles in Weilburg & Braunfels as well as the Braunfels Golf Club – the perfect combination of privacy, comfort & relaxation. Be our guest for up to two people (plus a baby/toddler), centrally located near Giessen’s landmark, the “Elefantenklo,” yet very quiet on a second row street. Our modern, small apartment offers you a well-equipped kitchenette, a modern shower room, and a bright room with a comfortable bed, TV, and dining/study area. You can reach the “Seltersweg” shopping street on foot in less than 5 minutes, and the train station in 15 minutes. Accessible entry and parking available in the courtyard.

The small art remise along the Weiltal and Weilstrasse in the Taunus is a small 55 square metre cottage on a former mill estate. Heated exclusively with wood, the shed invites you to linger in a cosy atmosphere or to explore the Weiltal or Lahntal by bike. On the property right next to the stream you can meet dogs, cats, chickens and even the occasional egg. Most recently, the remise was used as a studio, and now art objects by regional artists continue to enliven the space.

You can only find us through Airbnb. Wake up with a view of Lake Edersee. Enjoy the sunset from your own terrace – at the absolute first sea line on the Scheid Peninsula. Our stylish cottage is located in one of the most beautiful places on Lake Edersee. From the spacious property, a breathtaking panoramic view over the water and the surrounding forests of the Kellerwald-Edersee National Park opens up. Here you really live directly on the lake – not just "near the lake".

Enjoy a stylish experience in this centrally located accommodation. The apartment offers every comfort that makes the stay as pleasant as possible. All major shops, as well as bus stops and the Südbahnhof [South Station] are nearby. No pets allowed due to animal hair allergy!

Vacation home “alte Feuerwehr“

You are in a historic fire station right on the creek. You can sleep in the former hose tower in a 1.60 m wide box spring bed. This sleeping area is separated from the living room by free beams. You can book an additional bedroom. The photos are included. Among other things, there is a 1.80-meter-wide double bed. One floor down, on the first floor, is the bathroom with window, shower, natural stone sink and toilet. There is also a fully equipped kitchen.

Private apartment near Giessen (13 km)

In the 56 square meter basement apartment is everything you need. Bedroom with bathroom, closet for your clothes. Large living-dining room and a separate kitchen. Living room: sofa bed with table, (sofa bed 1.60 x 2.00). In addition, two cribs and a high chair. For 6 people, an inflatable double mattress is available. Kitchen: coffee maker and bread slicer. Various pots, dishes and glasses. Also a washing machine. We have a dog who will also greet you.

In the stable – side by side with chickens and horses

'IM PFERDESTALL' is located on the ground floor of the barn of the Mühlenanwesen. It used to be a stable. (Be sure to check out my other apartment, 'Scheunen-Loft', too.) The room has low ceilings and small lattice windows. The room is suitable for people seeking a more cave-like, cozy retreat. Due to the oven and the cold floor, the apartment is not suitable for infants. In the cold season, it may be necessary to heat up with the stove. See below.

Are you longing for peace, forest walks and a break in nature? Then our forest house is the perfect place of well-being for you. Take a deep breath. Enjoy long summer days in the garden on the large sun terrace - surrounded by greenery and a large lavender field. This attracts crowds of butterflies and bumblebees in summer. In the cold season, make yourself comfortable in front of the fireplace, in the brand new infrared sauna or by the campfire.

The open living room with a fireplace and its complete glass front and the open kitchen creates an inviting atmosphere in which you will immediately feel comfortable. The location is unique: You have a beautiful view of the countryside and access to a stream. As parents, we have equipped the house toddler-friendly.
