The Door Room is located in the heart of historic downtown Sturgeon Bay and within walking distance of all the action! It was creatively decorated with "subtle" school-themed touches that just may remind you of a dorm room (minus the ramen and bunk beds!) The Door Room is located on a quiet street in an older neighborhood. You also have your own private deck.

For our guests, we offer air conditioning, WIFI, a patio area for socializing, and even a spot for your camping companion (details available upon request). The place is better in person than the pictures, and the view is breathtaking. The boardwalk is right across the street, which is super helpful for taking furry friends on a walk. Everything we needed was there, and the beds were comfortable. I would definitely recommend this place.

We had an incredible stay! Stacie was an absolutely wonderful host. So kind, and very responsive, flexible, and helpful with check-in. The property was perfect- private, with lots of amenities that made us feel right at home. We spent 3 nights here with 11 people and there was plenty of room for everyone. While it feels remote, the town of Sturgeon Bay is very close so you get the feeling of being out in the country with the convenience of being close to town. We also loved being able to say good morning to the adorable cows. All in all, we had a 100/10 stay and will hopefully return soon!

This is a basic home with nice beds and good location at a value price. I would recommend it to anyone wants a good deal on a clean and simple home.

The bathroom features dual sinks with a large mirror above. Natural light flows in from the window, illuminating the spacious countertops. A walk-in tile shower is visible, and clean towels hang neatly on a bar. Warm wood accents enhance the calming atmosphere.

Dog Friendly Upper Deck: Central Sturgeon Bay

This place was in the most convenient location right off the highway and by a Kwik Trip and Walgreens in case you forgot things. It was super easy to get on 42 or 57 to get around the peninsula and since Door County is so small we found it the perfect home base for going up either side. The space itself was spacious and was nicely furnished, super comfy bed. It also had a nice little yard for our dog to do her business in. Other reviews mentioned how it can be loud but we brought a sound machine and had no problem at all! I could definitely see some of the traffic being loud though if you don't sleep with a fan or noise machine. Our pup did have issues going up the stairs and we had to carry her up and down, but if your dog is better with wood floors it may not be an issue.

Our stay at the Dockside Retreat was absolutely fantastic! The home offered a peaceful stay, with plenty of options for adults and children. We loved the quiet canal and kayaks, neighborhood family walks and cannot say enough about the pool, hot tub and fire pit areas! There was plenty of room for our family to spread out, while enjoying time together in the open floor plan of the main living spaces. Beautifully decorated and clean throughout, with many thoughtful touches. Jenny and Jeff were quick to respond with questions we had, and went above and beyond for all of our time—thank you again!!

Logan’s place is a lovely comfortable house with all basic needs catered for a getaway to Door County & surrounding places. Everything was perfectly in order and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The collection of books for guests was amazing and people can read to their children as well. I give this place 5 stars

It took me a little to figure out the light situation. Most notably how to turn on the lights in the bathroom. I don[t know if I was informed or not but the only thing I wasn't prepared for was there was no coffee pot. I brought all that with me and couldn't find one. The truth is that that may have been mentioned but i didn't see it. If you are using this place for fishing headquarters it's great. also not far from food tackle ect.
