Vacation rentals in Maple Island

We had a wonderful stay in this beautiful home on the shore of Lake Superior. The house is very comfortable, everything is new and sparkling clean. The kitchen is huge and has everything one may need and more. The host is very friendly and responsive and went out of his way to make our stay comfortable. For example, when we returned from skiing (Stokely Creek is 40 minutes away) on a snowy day, we found the driveway freshly plowed. The location is quite spectacular, we really enjoyed our stay.

Charming and Cozy in an amazing location! I plan to return in the summer and enjoy the beach, fire pit, rockhounding, watching the freighters and exploring. The location is a great launching point for many day trips within an hour or two of the cabin. And the beach access really is steps away from the door! We played outside all day and then played Catan and Uno at night. The kitchenette had everything we needed to prepare meals. There is an entertainment center set up with Roku and a dvd player with movies and some games. The beds were both very comfortable with quality linens and blankets and great pillows. The porch is darling, birdfeeders all around and lanterns and lights for night. Kelly was the perfect host, very quick to respond, knowledgeable of the area, and a pleasure to communicate with! I highly recommend this cabin for one or two people. Perfect for a cozy getaway, beach fun and day trips. You won’t be disappointed!!!

Perfect getaway, the cottage was spotless, had everything we need and was very lovely inside. Right in front of a public beach and the water was super warm! Could see the sunset right from the cottage. Only complaint is that my stay was too short. Thanks for a great trip.

This place was beautiful. So quiet & peaceful. The view can't be beat. It was great listening to the waves on the lake each night. It was super clear one night and we saw so many stars & even the Milky Way was visible to the naked eye. Can't say enough about how responsive Michael and Rose were. Chose this place over several others as it looked more warm & cozy. Glad we did. Did some exploring - Whitefish Point and Museum Ship Valley Camp in Michigan (also highly recommend Penny's Kitchen in Sault St. Marie MI). Also drove north - Pancake Bay has a beautiful beach. Went as far as Katherine's Cove. Such beauty. Took a hike to see Robertson Creek Falls - it's been dry so they were pretty but not huge. Hiking the fall woods was lovely. The Zone Roadhouse has really good pizza. Broasted Chicken Dinners from Grand Gardens, each dinner was enough for 2 people. Also grabbed frozen homemade perogies & Italian Wedding Soup for another dinner. Would definitely stay here again.

This comfortable cottage was exactly what we needed for a short stay near Sault Ste Marie. We were comfortable and glad to stay in such a beautiful area, we hope to be back! The view is stunning. Armando was extremely proactive and responsive assisting us with our late evening check in and making sure we had everything we needed throughout our stay. We truly appreciated this experience. We had the most wonderful stay here. We’ve tried renting lots of cabins throughout Algoma and Olli and Mia’s Chippewa retreat is by far our favourite. Lots to do nearby, great fishing, kayaks and canoe were lovely amenities. The hosts were so kind and welcoming. The cottage is gorgeous and so comfy it was actually nice to have a rainy day to have an excuse to spend more time inside. We can’t wait to return!

Awesome location, and awesome property! The home is well stocked and actually has good cutlery so you can actually prepare decent meals here! So many air bnbs lack that, but not this one! Most basics for cooking were also stocked and there were afew condiments in the fridge. The sauna is top notch, and probably my favorite part of the trip.

We had a group of 7 stay here for a snowboarding trip in March. We loved this Airbnb! Joanna was very responsive and accommodating. I would definitely stay here again and recommend it to everyone.
