We had such a great stay here! The space is lovely and the surroundings felt so peaceful. Meg was a great host and would recommend!

We couldn’t have picked a better place for our two night stay. The location is secluded away from the hassle and bustle of Puerto Viejo but close where you can take a Tuk Tuk or bike ride (easy to rent nearby) to the center. Playa Chiquita is the closest beach but you can also visit Cocles and Punta Uva (our fave). The Airbnb has all the amenities you need and the host, Stephanie, was very responsive. We hope to return to this hidden oasis soon!

Wonderful place to stay in Puerto viejo. Everything is in walking distance and the cahuita national park and manzanillo Refugio are just 20-30min by car. Our host was very nice and reacted very quickly and relaxed when we locked us out one time 😅 I can only recommend this place to everyone wanting to stay in the area.

Adrian’s place is the perfect little hideaway for a solo traveler or couple. It’s located just off the main road, in easy walking distance to central Puerto Viejo, and the setting is quite serene. And did I mention it’s extremely affordable. If you like what you see in the photos - book it. You won’t be disappointed. Pro Tips: • Scooters are the way to go. Manu Rent is near Adrian’s place and they are the best. Playa Cocles and Punta Uva are a short ride away - as well as Cahuita. • Pan Pay has the best breakfast in town and they are super affordable. • El Sendero Beach Club / Lidia’s Place - Same family own both 🍽️Sendero is on the beach next to the world famous Salsa Brava. Lidia’s is tucked into the neighborhood and offers a more local vibe and DELICIOUS food. Pura Vida 🤙🏾🇨🇷

Die Unterkunft ist wunderschön und sehr liebevoll eingerichtet. Sie liegt mitten im Grünen mit toller Aussicht in die Natur. Die Faultier und Affen konnten wir von der Terasse aus beobachten. Es ist ruhig, sicher und alle Ziele in Puerto Viejo sind gut erreichbar. Die Wohnung ist toll aufgeteilt, sehr sauber und es ist alles vorhanden, was man braucht. Bei Fragen gibt es auch eine sehr nette Ansprechpartnerin vor Ort. Das Highlight der Wohnung ist die schöne Terasse und die praktische Küche. Wir haben uns rundherum sehr wohl gefühlt, es war wie nach Hause kommen. Wir können die Unterkunft für einen schönen Aufenthalt in Puerto Viejo nur empfehlen und werden bestimmt mal wieder kommen. We loved the house and the garden. Staying in the middle of the jungle is magical. If you are looking for a silent place, this isn’t the one cause the monkeys, roosters, dogs and birds will wake you up very early but if you are looking for a jungle experience this is it! The house is super clean and beautiful, full of butterflies and beautiful animals that come to visit .

Erin and her husband are incredibly warm and welcoming people who went out of their way to make us feel at home. The house is beautifully laid out, especially for a family with young children and perhaps grandparents as well. Two bedrooms and two bathrooms are conveniently located close together on the lower level, and there is another bedroom with a private bathroom upstairs. There are two spacious terraces — one on the ground floor and one upstairs — perfect for doing yoga or meditation while enjoying the peaceful surroundings. The pool and house offer complete privacy, which made our stay feel truly relaxing and secluded. At the same time, it’s reassuring to know that Erinn and her husband live nearby, always available to help or offer great local tips. Both are incredibly kind and helpful. The pool is fantastic — you can keep an eye on the kids. We felt incredibly comfortable and were warmly welcomed by Erinn and her husband. We will definitely come back on our next visit!

We only stopped over for the night, but would definitely stay here longer in the future. It's on a nice little property walking distance to the beach and town.

Unique lodging experience. Highly recommend. Beautiful setting and convenient to beaches, nearby parks/reserves, and excursions, and Puerto Viejo. Perfect for those that enjoy outdoor eating areas and lounging. Somewhat rustic. Place is very well decorated — quite an experience — sad to leave!

Beautiful home. Dawn, the host and owner, lives downstairs and she was incredibly kind and helpful. Pictures don’t do the home justice - it’s stunning - with an incredible yard. Used the pool and meditation deck daily, both of which were amazing.

Nous avons apprécié notre séjour chez Victoria. Il faut bien savoir que le logement est éloigné de Puerto Viejo. Nous avions notre véhicule de location mais pour éviter de conduire la nuit et pour profiter de l'animation de la ville en soirée, nous avons utilisé les services d'un Tuk tuk recommandé par Victoria et c'était très bien ! La construction de la Caninas est très agréable, romantique et fonctionnelle Par ailleurs, Victoria s'est montrée très arrangeante pour régler un problème organisationnel.
