House vacation rentals in Mansfield

My husband and I had a beautiful weekend at this cottage. A lot of thought and care has gone into the design of this space. We had everything we needed including a super comfortable bed. This made for a really comfortable stay in peaceful surrounds, we really enjoyed the stunning view. We enjoyed using the cottage as a base to explore the local area including wineries, restaurants and lovely bush walks. Ange and team were super easy to communicate with and provided clear instructions. Thank you!

Beautiful home in Mansfield, it was very big and spacious. There is a reading area, a play area and entertainment room. My family of 8 is able to stay comfortably. Adam provides clear instructions before arrival and informed me in advance that the small oven was not working and it helped to plan meals. He was also quick to provide help when i realised the upstairs a/c was not blowing out air. Great host and great place!

Its a beautiful house. Worth to stay there. Check in time in 3pm that is bit late. Checkout time is 10am that's fine. Overall this place is recommended for staying.

Absolutely beautiful property. Very family friendly in a very private setting. Heather & Dennis were very friendly and easy hosts to communicate with. Will definitely be back!

Wonderful winter stay at Upper Lurg. 3 couples could not have loved the house more on a cold weekend. Facilities and space were amazing with everything you could need. The pool looked a bit cool at 7 degrees but we could see outdoor summer entertaining being amazing, the spaces, the outdoor cooking area all looked amazing, was ready to crank up the pizza oven. If only the chickens were laying eggs. The location was amazing for the King Valley Wineries. Easy drive to all the Valley. Will plan another visit.

Great weekend at Mansfield. The property was lovely, big enough for all 9 of us we felt we could relax and had no issues, the whole family including grandkids enjoyed the experience. Pool was great after a day on the boat at lake Elidon Overall terrific weekend away .

Narelle was incredibly easy to contact and responded quickly, making the booking process seamless. The house itself was amazing spacious, clean, and well equipped. The highlight was definitely the beautiful farm setting, with cows and chickens roaming freely. Sitting at the dining table while watching the cows walk past was such a peaceful and unique experience. The rooms and bathroom were generously sized, offering plenty of comfort, and the pool was a fantastic addition for relaxation. The entire stay was truly enjoyable, and we felt so connected to nature. We will definitely be booking again. Thank you Narelle once again.

I almost don’t want to give this place 5 stars, just so we can keep it to ourselves!!!! This is the most beautiful home and surroundings you will find in Mansfield. Clean, roomy and has all you need, with private access to the lake, which is absolutely perfect for boats and jetski’s. If you think it can’t get better wait until you meet Nell. She is an amazing host, so thoughtful, great with communication and has all the friendly tips for your drive and stay. We felt right at home here and without a doubt will be back to make many more great memories.

Beautiful place with lots of amenities. Had the pleasure of seeing deer right up to the property. Very peaceful great for family getaway.

Our stay in this hideout at Maintongoon was absolutely incredible! The views were breathtaking, offering a perfect escape into nature. The rooms were spotless, spacious, and cozy, making us feel right at home. The furniture was modern yet warm, with thoughtful touches throughout the space. We also got lucky with the beautiful weather, which made the whole experience even more special. All in all, it was a fantastic getaway – peaceful, comfortable, and memorable. Would highly recommend and definitely love to come back!

This was a lovely quaint house with old world charm. The house was spacious and very clean, with a great fenced in area for a furry friend. Spent hours relaxing in front of the fire, listening to the rain outside. Location is PEFECT. We strolled into town for dinner, coffee and some shopping. Host was great to communicate with, and was kind enough to put the heating on for our arrival. Overall, a magnificently relaxing long weekend in a comfortable, inviting home. We will be back

We had a fantastic stay! The place is in a great spot, just a few minutes from the Mt Buller entrance, making it super convenient for our snow trip. The house had heaps of space for our group and was well set up with everything we needed. Would definitely recommend it to anyone heading to the snow!

'Micks place' - what a great space! Short walk to the local "Tatong Tavern' which is awesome for a drink and a meal. Furniture and style is welcoming and it all still looks like new. The beds are really comfortable as are the kitchen chairs. Excellent amenities and nice and clean We loved it, we will be back Trace and Co.

Love our long weekend stay. The photos do not do this beautiful home & surrounds justice as it is beautiful. It was raining & very cold for our stay but the house was so toasty & warm. It would have been lovely to walk around and explore the outdoors & sit outside as there is a great spot to sit over looking the water with a fire pit. I would highly recommend staying as you will love it.

Hanna is a responsive host .She communicates as like friends.The accommodation was splendid. We loved it all the pictures we saw on add same like we found at place. It is located near to lake ,it increases the value of accommodation and this makes it attractive 😍. Whole house was prestine .We had a great experience at this place. Our stay at Goughs Bay was the most peacful and calm experience close to nature and beautiful landscape of the mountains and lake Elidon. The property is beautifully maintained and Stefanie was an amazing host, very prompt in her response each time we contacted her. The native birds visiting the balcony each morning and the breathtaking view of the lake and mountains was a treat to eyes and soul. Goughs Bay is a beautiful little town near Mansfield with quiet and friendly neighuboorhoud. A perfect gateway close to nature with family and friends!!

This property is amazing and has everything you could possibly want and more. Provisions included quality bathroom amenities, fresh bread and milk, breakfast, plenty of tea and coffee and even home made Anzac cookies. We had a great time visiting wineries with friends and eating at a couple of local restaurants. It was all very relaxing. Thank you Alan & Rowena for letting us stay at 3 Back Sheds!

We stayed for two weeks and really enjoyed our time—the home is beautifully curated, cosy, and well-equipped. It felt like a home away from home, which is why I’m still giving 5 stars. That said, for the price, we expected more. The house wasn’t cleaned to a high standard—we had to wipe down the fridge, cutlery drawers and dusty surfaces on arrival. Roadworks outside disrupted access and caused loud noise, with no notice given, and the back door didn’t lock securely—both issues that should have been communicated or resolved. There’s also only one aircon/heater in the lounge, which left the rest of the house cold during our winter stay. Plug-in heaters were provided for bedrooms (and needed), but bathrooms remained icy. The house itself is lovely, but housekeeping and property management let it down. Some better communication and accountability would really lift the guest experience.
