Our stunning 2-bedroom, ground floor apartment is located right in the heart of Lauterbrunnen. The sunny terrace offers unique views of both the famous Staubbach Waterfall and the valley itself. In summer enjoy the countless hiking trails; in winter we are perfectly placed in-between the ski areas of Murren-Schilthorn AND Wengen-Grindelwald. We've lived here since the apartment was built in 2012 and we love it; but now we are travelling, so we hope you enjoy your time here as much as we do.

Perfect stay! Everything was as described and the views were AMAZING. It’s a quiet town, but easy to get to all major towns. Train is walkable (took 10 mins with 3 kids!) and if you plan correctly it’s super easy: leave at the top of every hour, you will catch the quarter past the hour train. Perfect timing every time. The host and cohosts were EXTREMELY helpful and kind! This place has EVERYTHING you need and more!

Luxury with best views - summer special prices

This was our second time staying at Corrine & Chris' place, and we loved it just as much the second time around! The location is great - a quiet area surrounded by green space, away from the main road. Out the kitchen window you can see the most famous waterfall in Lauterbrunnen and from the balcony you can take in a view down the valley to the snow-covered peaks! It's an easy 10 minute walk to town (there's also a bus), or an even faster cycle. We loved spending our evenings on the balcony watching the sun fade on the cliffs. Access was easy and simple with good instructions, the place was clean and well-furnished and in good repair. Bed is really comfortable and shower had shampoo and soap, and washer and dryer as well (if you need). The kitchen has a dishwasher which makes clean-up easy. Kitchen has a selection of spices & dry spaghetti - pick up any specifics at the nearby Coop. I can't recommend the place enough & hope to return soon!

We had such a lovely time at Chalet Emmely. It was extremely clean and smartly renovated inside, with spectacular views of Grindelwald and the Eiger from the windows. There is a parking space included for a rental car, which was really convenient for us. The place is also located on a side road so it is very quiet and peaceful. The host Anita is so kind, attentive, and energetic. She took the time to meet us when we checked in, explained everything to us, and showed us around the property. We would highly recommend Chalet Emmely and we hope to be back one day soon!

Hands down one of the most amazing places we have ever stayed in. Words do not do justice to this place. If you are considering booking here, stop looking elsewhere and book here before someone else does. The views - from your bed waking up or from the balcony - are of a scene that matches fairytale descriptions of heaven. Stunning snowy mountains all around you, a distant lush valley flanked by waterfalls. Sitting in the hot pot looking out over it all, we wanted to cry of joy. Peter is an amazing host who was friendly, welcoming, and helpful. The place was kept immaculately spotless with amazing attention to detail and we slept like babies on the super comfortable bed. Seriously, we did not want to leave and are already planning our return here. Truly a paradise.
