Longstones Avebury – Kennet

ChrisRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
We had a wonderful stay at this beautiful home - it's so cozy and well-equipped, perfect for a relaxing getaway. We especially appreciated how elements of the original barn were thoughtfully incorporated into the design, giving it a unique charm. Ben was incredibly welcoming and took the time to share the rich history of the home and the surrounding area with us. We'd definitely stay here again!

Cosy character cottage in central Marlborough

Anita-LindahRating, 5 stars1 week ago
Lovely 400 yr old terraced house splendidly restored & very comfortable - good bed/ furniture/small well equipped galley kitchen/ good shower bathroom. Staircases very steep but safe if used sensibly. Bathroom & bedroom both on first floor. Need to descend to ground floor & ascend stairs up again to reach which is fine for the sprightly. John a good host re communications/ local info. No probs as guests so didn't meet him personally. Quirky & comfortable stay. Would recommend. Pretty Marlborough a good base for walkers & those interested in 3,500 bc to Jacobean history & beyond. Good eateries too.

Centre village self-catering cottage Pewsey, Wilts

PaulaRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
+ compact, yet beautifully designed and well-equipped to maximise the use of the space with modern, quality fittings and absolutely everything one might need. + strong wi-fi signal, hot water good, comfy bed with quality bedding + quick response from owner every time and easy to follow instructions about how to find the place, local area knowledge, how to work the kitchen appliances, etc. + right next door to the owner's house in a very pretty garden setting with local village shops a walk away - this worked beautifully for us for one night. The only negative I can think of is that there is very little worktop space in the kitchen area (which has been designed brilliantly for such a small space) so may not suit if you are into self- catering all the time and making elaborate meals. Would definitely recommend! Thank you Barbara x

Three grazing cattle are positioned near a wooden fence in a green field. The landscape features gentle hills in the background, under a clear blue sky with scattered clouds. Sunlight casts soft shadows across the pasture, enhancing the tranquil rural setting.

Countryside Lodge close to Stonehenge & Salisbury

SharonRating, 5 stars1 week ago
Chris and Lewis are excellent and thoughtful hosts. If you plan to visit Stonehenge, it's only 15 mins drive away. There are lots of other historically interesting locations nearby and lovely villages. The Swan in Enford, with its pretty thatched roof, is a 10min walk from the lodge, without using the busy A road and has great food. Also the Dog and Gun, a couple of mins drive away, is excellent. The little lodge itself is really well equipped and perfectly clean. Great garden and very dog-friendly.

The Old Victorian School

AnnaRating, 5 stars2 months ago
A beautiful converted school house space. Thoughtfully decorated with all useful amenities in the kitchen, and a lovely out look from the mezzanine bedroom. Enjoyed local village life, including The Shed for local ale and a chat, and great coffee and cake at the Garden Kitchen café. A short drive to Marlborough, highly recommend the Funghi Restaurant and Raj Indian. A super stay, thank you.
