We serve an optional full breakfast downstairs in the historic original Swahili house. We have a beautiful breezy rooftop with comfortable day beds for all our guests to enjoy. Conveniently located just a minute's walk from the jetty and the seafront, Amu House is perfectly situated. A quiet, private home in the middle of a historic paradise!

Jamala Romantic

Jamala House is centrally located near Lamu Fort in the historic oldest part of Lamu. It is a quiet and private resort with a relaxing garden rebuilt to a high standard and reopened in 2018. All rooms have private baths with hot water. Jamala features a common kitchen, seating area and a rooftop with a great view of the sea. A continental breakfast can be enjoyed in the breakfast area. Sightseeing tours are available close to the property and dhow services can be arranged at a fair rate.

JamboHouse Lamu is a small guesthouse in Lamu Town. We are not a 5 star resort - we offer budget accommodation with clean rooms and lots of information to make your stay in Lamu as good as possible.
