An excellent place to rest and enjoy. Beach access is great, and Mario was always available.

Our stay at Ganso and Búho was fantastic—in fact we enjoyed it so much we extended 3 extra days. The room had everything we needed, including a great patio for relaxing. The location was superb, beach front and with many excellent restaurant options nearby. Additionally, all the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, and the breakfast at the hotel restaurant each morning was tasty and substantial. I plan on coming back on a future trip, and would highly recommend this place to anyone!

The place and the service are first-class. Anabel, who looked after us, was very friendly, the place lent us towels to go to the beach. It was also our first time there and everything was very quiet, and many delicious places to eat.

Carmen Alicia is a very friendly person, and she was always attentive to us before and during the stay. The place is very comfortable and is in a very quiet location. I would definitely go back.

Dona and Jim were very friendly, the house was a dream, everything was very clean and tidy and the pool was amazing. The area is quite quiet, easy to access. We made use of the grill and it is something we highly recommend. We will definitely be back at the yellow house very soon.

La Casita Dulce was a wonderful place to stay. The home is comfortable and well-suited for a beach getaway, whether you’re there for a few days or an extended stay. It’s conveniently located near both Ayampe Beach and Las Tunas, so you can easily drive to either spot. We especially loved how peaceful the surroundings were, with soothing nature sounds all around. The host provides everything you need for a relaxing visit and is quick to respond to any requests. I highly recommend La Casita Dulce to anyone seeking a private, tranquil retreat—perfect for both vacation and remote work.

Outstanding Hosts! met all our needs and then went above and beyond!. Personally picked us up at Manta airport and saw to everything we could have wanted. Beach was fabulous and total R&R watching the local fishermen do there thing, lunch restaurants very close and would supply takeout of our daily beer if we needed (for our 5 week stay) . only con is the distance to the supermarket but was alleviated by our hosts willingness to drive us into Puerto Viejo or use the bus that ran by every 10-15 minutes. and dirt cheap at 50 cents pp to crucita or $1:50 all the way into Puerto Viejo. The stay was perfect for what we needed, quite, (except weekends when locals flocked to the beach for the same reason we were there) .off the beaten trail and super serene, watching the droves of frigates and pelicans flying north at sunset capped our days perfectly .

The room was exactly as described and a nice break from hostels. The one thing to note is it is on ground level so if you aren't a heavy sleeper you may have a hard time with the noise. Otherwise Victor was wonderful and very helpful host.

Stay here with Mrs. Rocio and her family is very comfortable. They are people of very good human quality, I recommend them a lot I would come back to stay there again since the truth is a good location and a good home to go to rest

It was a pleasant stay in a comfortable place. The host was attentive to our messages so that we could be comfortable. We liked it so much that we decided to stay one more day in the same room and the host helped us without any problem. What we liked the most was that the rooms have air conditioning. We would definitely rent from Victor again on a future visit.

Excellent host, always attentive to your arrival. The caretaker is very kind, helpful, gives you recommendations for safety, food, schedules. It is centrally located to go to Montaña and Olon. You enjoy both environments at the same time, mountains and beach
