This cabin you will find next to the petting lake in the middle of the Småland forests about 30 minutes outside Jönköping. You will find your own jetty by boat 100 meters through the forest from the cabin. 3-minute walk, you also have a beautiful public swimming area with summer café. Approximately 4 km from the cottage there is a grocery store, pizzeria and train station.

One bedroom with a luxury bed for two and one room with a very comfortable foldable bed sofa for two and a kitchen area. Wood stove sauna, bathroom with shower, sink and toilet. The host lives in a house about 50 meters further away from the beach. The kitchen is for simple cooking, the use of a frying pan is not allowed, but charcoal barbecue is available.

The garden is a meadow and behind the house starts the forest. In the vicinity of the house there are two ponds and 700m away there is a lake. In the lake you can go down to swimming and fishing. We have a small boat that you can rent per day, SEK 75 You have neighbors but at an appropriate distance.

Our cosy guest house has its own entrance and is located in the same building as our garage on our spacious yard. By car it is 20 minutes away from the city Jönköping and the E4. Downstairs there is a small pentry, a kitchen table and toilet. Upstairs there is one double bed and two single beds. Note that bed sheets and towels are not included but can be rented for 100 SEK per person. Pillows and duvets are included.

The stay was very nice, the sauna and the area with the lake and the small jetty was really great! :) The cabin was clean, you had water containers available for washing dishes, showering… and firewood was also ready to use for the stove, which kept the cabin nice and warm. The toilet was also clean. We would come back!

Helena and her husband were great hosts. The place felt like home right away. They have very cute animal and Helena was kind enough to show us all around the property and explain everything from our house, to the barn with animals/tractors and her shop. The shop has cute and delicious products to make your stay even more pleasant. They respect your privacy but are there if you need them to give you tips and advice on local activities. The house is as described and all the amenities you might need are there as well. Even visiting with a dog is possible and if needed they will keep their dog leashed or inside. They really go above and beyond! We will definitely miss this place but will visit again when in Sweden. Would highly recommend coming here.

Mattia's house is a super cozy old wooden house with lots of Swedish atmosphere and lovely outdoor area with both swimming lake, beautiful views and surrounded by beautiful nature. We had some incredibly nice days at the house. Mattias had heated the house before we arrived and there was lighted candles, a small bouquet was on the kitchen table and we got a very personal welcome. Mattias is very welcoming, friendly and helpful - more than I've experienced on AirBNB in the past. Then you are looking for a holiday in the Swedish in a very cozy Swedish house, then I can definitely recommend the house in Lycke. Thank you so much for a lovely stay at your lovely house Mattias and thank you for great hosting😊

We had a wonderful stay at this beautiful cottage! The communication with the hosts was incredibly friendly and helpful from start to finish. The house was spotless and very well maintained, making us feel comfortable and at home right away. The view over the lake was absolutely breathtaking, and the level of privacy was exceptional — it felt like our own little paradise. One of the absolute highlights was the beautiful jetty right by the lake — the perfect spot for swimming, relaxing, and soaking in the peaceful surroundings. We’d definitely love to come back!

The cabin exceeded our expectations. We held New Year in Karl's cabin inside a forest between Nassjö and Eksjö and it was just as it should be. Lovely quiet and quite undisturbed. Karl was great at giving recommendations for activities we could do, as well as appropriate length of hiking trails around. He was even very proactive when we got to make a few mistakes in the kitchen that he kindly took care of. We felt welcome in the old converted soldier's cabin and are strongly considering coming back on a 'get away' in the cozy cabin.
