Amazing villa, seemingly at the end of the word. Situated on a corner cliff is catches the cool ocean breeze. Lying on the swinging beds outside is super romantic and relaxing. The staircase to the water outside gives great photo opportunities. The staff is extremely friendly and proactive and easily arranges local activities. The place is hard to find as it sits at the end of a narrow and very bumpy bush road, but I guess that ensures ultimate privacy and a serene location.

Seeing thousands of flying fox flying over the roof terrace in the evening is a fantastic experience, and this alone is reason enough to choose to stay at Sharook. Also you can be sure that Ismael and his team will go the extra mile for you. For me they arranged a great (and cheap) snorkel trip to Kokota Island with a very short notice. This was a very beautiful reef (matching e.g. Mnemba trips on Zanzibar) and there were no other tourists. They also arranged for me to book a motor cycle so I could explore Ngezi forrest and the northern tip of the island. Both trips custom made custom as per my request. Breakfast with lots of local fresh mango, served on the terrace with the view, also is a treat and something I will remember.

An open dining area features numerous wooden tables and seating arranged under a thatched roof. Colorful cushions rest on a woven bench, complemented by vibrant textiles. Natural stone flooring adds to the rustic charm, creating a comfortable gathering space that blends with the surrounding environment.

Small peaceful haven in the middle of the forest and by the water. Beautiful setting with small terraces above the water to enjoy the sunset. Great pool. Excellent dinner and breakfast.
