The village is located in the heart of the Frisian lake district, bustling with activity in the summer and has a great middle class. The flower garden (butterfly garden) of the cottage offers a lot of privacy and is located right under the windmill, 't Lam. Come here to relax with your sweetheart, away from the hustle and bustle, you will find peace and quiet here and you will wake up to the tits, blackbirds and sparrows (sometimes Sunday from the church bells). Just across the Afsluitdijk in the middle of the Frisian meadow, you can stay in a lovely vacation home with a nice kitchen, large "sleeping attic" with bathroom. The fully equipped kitchen invites you to enjoy long cooking and dining. Inside or outside! The garden is a wonderful place for children to play and you can enjoy the setting sun and horses here until late. Our house is close to the beach of Makkum, forests, lakes and several Frisian "elf cities".

Our house is a small but very nice house. From the jetty, you can board the boat and sail towards the Frisian lakes. The house is very quiet and is equipped with every comfort. You can stay comfortably with 4 people at the Wjitteringswei. The beds are wonderful. They are now set up as a double bed but can also be set up as 4 single beds. Wi-Fi is of course also available. And above all, a fantastic view. Check-in from 3 p.m. and check-out until 12 p.m.

You can walk within 1 minute to the supermarket and within 5 minutes to the center of Sneek with cozy terraces, shops and restaurants. At check-in, you can take a key to the house from the key box, and the entire house is at your disposal!

At the edge of National Park Weerribben-Wieden, lies our holiday home located on the meadows. Enjoy nature and tranquility, but also a perfect base for exploring the Weerribben-Wieden. The towns of Kalenberg, Blokzijl, Giethoorn and Dwarsgracht are within cycling distance. Or rent a boat to view the Weerribben from the water.
