Kid-friendly vacation rentals in Maio

Stella Maris is a very well maintained conduminium. Many plants and flowers and well kept grounds. Our villa Atùn was on a corner with a nice terrace with sea views and very close to the pool. Staff is very friendly and helpful.

Die Unterkunft von Andrea liegt sehr gut, da es zum nächsten Supermarkt wenige 100 m sind sowie zum Stadtstrand eine gute Viertelstunde zu Fuß. Das Haus ist liebevoll errichtet, der Garten sehr grün. Unter dem Baum kann man im Schatten wunderbar entspannen. Dazu lädt der Grill ein, abends Fisch und Gemüse zu braten. Die Kommunikation mit Andrea lief problemlos, es gab sehr gute Tipps und auf alle Fragen eine Antwort. Klare Empfehlung!

Hanspeter war ein zuvorkommender Gastgeber und wir sind dankbar für seine tatkräftige organisatorische Unterstützung bereits im Vorfeld unserer Reise. Die Bungalows sind sehr hübsch eingerichtet und äusserst sauber. Sie befinden sich am Ortsrand, zum Strand sind es nur wenige Gehminuten und Abends herrscht etwas mehr Ruhe, als in der Dorfmitte. Wer Erholung und Ruhe gepaart mit warmen Klima sucht, wird von Maio und Hanspeter nicht enttäuscht sein!

Das Haus ist sehr hübsch, etwas ab vom Schuss, wenn es um Einkaufsmöglichkeiten und Restaurants geht. Aber Jean-Christophe ist sehr entgegenkommend und unterstützt am ersten Tag mit dem Einkauf. Betten sind etwas durchgelegen.

Gentillement Bernard a accepté de venir nous chercher gratuitement à notre hébergement précédent. Il nous a logé dans une maison plus grande très agréable. Valérie et Bernard font tout pour que notre séjour soit agréable :prêt de vélos, conseils avisés, nous avons beaucoup apprécié la visite chez son ami Raphaël Colicci qui a fondé la ferme d'agroforesterie Maioasis :un projet extraordinaire pour développer des fermes autonomes à but social et solidaire sur l'île de Maio.

Très belle et grande maison, très confortable, avec une vue incroyable, une terrasse paisible et des chambres nickel. À proximité du centre, à pied. Un grand merci à Mirtes, notre hote, edy, le chauffeur et Vanusa, la cuisinière qui ont été vraiment aux petits soins pour nous. rien à dire. Merci beaucoup. petit bémol pour la pompe à eau extrêmement bruyante des qu on utilise de l eau. et pour la piscine qui mériterait un bon entretien. Nous conseillons.

Superbe maison d architecte lumineuse et à la deco soignée. Le confort est simple : pas d eau chaude pour une douche vivifiante ( à laquelle on s’y fait bien), rangement à minima et lit au confort spartiate. Les discutions avec Alex ont été riches et sympathiques dans un français soutenu. Une très belle expérience!

Bernard and Valerie were very hopitable, kind and friendly with amazing tips about what to do in the island. When Bernard learned we liked birds, he went out of his way to take us around good spots for watching them. We were lucky to be there for Christmas and were invited to a great party in the village with their friends. When our flight was delayed they were helpful and flexible for us to find solutions. The house is quiet, comfortable and well equipped, a pleasure to cook in. Highlighted for us were the sunset views from the rooftop, riding the electric bikes to a deserted beach, really sweet dogs, resting by the pool and closeness Bernard and Valerie have to their neighbors in the village.

Sehr hübsches und sauberes Appartment mit einer gut ausgestatteten Küche. Dank Ventilator war die Temperatur im Appartment trotz hoher Außentemperaturen angenehm. Der kleine Pool war schön zum Schwimmen und Planschen und besonders unsere Tochter war begeistert. Auch die Anlage ist gepflegt und es ist angenehm, einen Teil des Tages in der Hollywoodschaukel zu genießen. Natürlich ist der Strand unschlagbar und am Stadtstrand kann man gefahrlos schwimmen. Die Anlage hat einen Wächter / Hausmeister - Pablo - der uns sofort geholfen hat, als die Gasflasche einmal leer war. Bei ihm kann man sich immer Hilfe holen, da er die meiste Zeit vor Ort ist. Die Anlage befindet sich fünf Gehminuten vom Ort und dem nächsten Supermarkt mit sehr guter Auswahl entfernt. Die Straße ist abends und nachts beleuchtet, sodass man auch keine Taschenlampe braucht. Die Kommunikation mit Ilaria war perfekt. Sie hat all meine Fragen im Vorfeld beantwortet und mir auch weitere Tipps gegeben. Alles in allem eine wunderbare Woche auf Maio und in Ilarias Appartment - unbedingt empfehlenswert!

Javier est un excellent hôte et est très sympathique. Il a toujours été réactif et nous a donné de précieux conseils sur l’île. Le logement est propre et accessible propre de toutes commodités.

El apartamento es muy cuco, limpio y cuenta con todos los utensilios, incluyendo detallitos como café de cortesía. Isolinda es un encanto, estaba pendiente de nosotras, preocupándose porque estuviéramos cómodas en el alojamiento y disfrutásemos de Maio. Además da muy buenas recomendaciones. Nos ha encantado la estancia ❤️

Il soggiorno a Maio è stato semplicemente perde , e questo è stato possibile anche grazie a questo alloggio perfetto sotto ogni punto di vista. La casa era esattamente come descritta (anzi, anche meglio!): pulita, accogliente L’host è stato impeccabile: gentile, disponibile e sempre pronto a darci consigli utili per vivere al meglio l’isola, scoprire spiagge nascoste e assaporare la vera atmosfera capoverdiana. Mirco est à l'écoute de ses hôtes et le personnel est très accueillant il n'y rien à en dire hormis la présence d'un micro-onde qui serait très pratique.

Christoph and Mona, were outstanding hosts, and are with you every step of the way. The Beach location offers near perfect untouched nature, the ocean is rich with aquatic life, making the fishing truly amazing. The waves didn't calm during our stay so swimming wasn't possible, however it made the scenery even more spectacular. After spending time with Christoph I began to realise quickly how passionate and genuine he is about their chosen way of life, he is an asset to Maio and held in high regard. They ask nothing in return for all the help received during the stay, and truly enjoy the social company of good honest people, guests appear welcome to be part of their everyday life. Their dogs and cats are well behaved, we looked forward to seeing Lucy +1 each morning guests should appreciate you are living off grid and must be conscious of power used. your own wifi dongle would be recommended if it's essential you.
