Can’t speak highly enough of Joe’s place. Easily the most peaceful slice of island life, with an incredibly gracious host and flexible to what we need. Highlight of our year, every year.

This stay was everything we wanted- relaxing, calm and a beautiful property. We did hikes near by and activities in the town. We really enjoyed exploring! I would love to come back!

Staying at the treehouse was such a unique experience! The treehouse actually has trees growing amongst the various decks and porches! There are so many windows with great views of the forest. I loved how cozy and clean it felt and we enjoyed all of the amenities (sauna, rain shower, hot tub bathtub). My kids enjoyed sleeping up in the loft. There are a lot of outdoor and screened in spaces that allowed us to spread out and relax. The gas fireplace is two sided and even heats one of the porches! I could see this being a nice place to stay in all seasons. Although the treehouse is not far (8 mins) from two substantial grocery stores, the site feels very private and peaceful. And MDI is so accessible as well. Thank you for sharing this memorable experience with us!

This is our fifth consecutive year of vacationing at the McConnell cabin as a family of three. Hopefully to many more years! This is a very special place. I continue to be grateful to the McConnell family for sharing it and putting so much care and love into making it a welcoming and comfortable oasis.

Amazing for a girls weekend! Spirits renewed and inspired! Three women set out, no men in tow, To a treehouse in Maine where the pine breezes blow. With bags full of books and a playlist in hand, They left behind emails and schedules unplanned. The treehouse stood tall, with twinkle light flair, Like a secretive cottage just floating in air. A hot tub out back, a firepit below— It whispered, “Exhale, let the outside world slow.” They broke sourdough bread like it was a rite, With dips and with spreads in the fairy-lit night. The food? Divine. The drinks? A delight. The vibes? Immaculate, steady and right. Romantasy novels lay open with care, Pages of fae lords and magical flair. They swooned and they cackled, they gasped and they read—“If he’s not the end game, I’m flipping this bed.” Three women, one treehouse, no drama, all heart—Each moment a poem, each night a fresh start. Such a beautiful place! Me and my wife didn’t want to leave. 😊 We loved our stay here and would recommend it to everyone headed this way. When we drove in the first night, it felt like we were in a dream. It was so cozy, and we felt like we were right at home. The hosts are amazing, and they are great people to work with. 😊

Beautiful tree house for a weekend get away. One of the main highlights was kayaking on the lake it was serene and absolutely stunning. Toni provided everything we needed and was very responsive the whole time we were there. If you’re looking for a peaceful retreat to unplug and recharge, this treehouse is a hidden gem. I can’t wait to come back!

A dream come true! An incredible escape from reality where you are surrounded by the true peace of nature and all of the beauty that it brings. The treehouse was exactly as advertised - gorgeous construction, beautiful layout, incredibly comfortable bed, and most importantly - our four legged child was welcome! Our host was very communicative throughout the booking process, answered all of our questions, provided recommendations, and was flexible with check in/out time. We loved our trip to the treehouse so much, we are already planning our next trip to what we hope will become our new home away from home. 10/10 recommendation!

My son and I truly enjoyed every moment we spent at the Treehouse. Whether it was using the kayaks in the cove, or enjoying the amazing views while sitting around the firepit (also enjoyed cooking hotdogs and s'mores on it), we felt right at home. The Treehouse is nicely furnished with amazing pieces that just add to the authentic feel of being in a treehouse. If only mine as a kid had all these features. I enjoyed listening to the loons out on the lake in the evenings and the ospreys fishing during the days. Definitely an experience that should not be passed up. Thank you to both Paul and Maureen for allowing us to share your little spot of heaven on earth.

I recently had the pleasure of spending a weekend at this charming cabin, and I can honestly say it was one of the best getaways I’ve had in a long time. From the moment we arrived, it was clear that the Feras had thought of everything to make the experience truly memorable. The cabin itself was cozy, impeccably clean, and with every detail carefully considered. The decor perfectly balanced rustic charm with modern comfort, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere. The kitchen was fully stocked with everything we could possibly need. It was clear that Feras wanted to make sure we had an stress-free and relaxing time, and his attention to detail was evident in every aspect of our stay. In short, this cabin offered everything we were looking for and more—comfort, style, and thoughtful touches that went above and beyond. I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a peaceful, well-appointed retreat. We can’t wait to come back!

Jeff and Cathy were great hosts. They met with us upon arrival and explained everything we would need to know. They would reach out daily to make sure we had what we needed. The tree house was better than we expected and we had a great time with our visit we will definitely be back again!
