This “Cliff View Casita” is the kind of place where Zane Gray would have written one of his books in the unique Southwest. We have glorious cliff views with sunsets and sunrises, which will take your breath away. It is where Vincent Van Gogh may have chosen to paint the starry night and the wheat field in seven different shades if he had lived in America. I really enjoyed my solo retreat at this beautiful A-Frame cabin. It was a perfect getaway and helped break into the simplicity of life. I was cozy and felt that everything I needed was provided for. It was quaint, quiet, and everything I would hope for. The wildlife was fun to watch as well!

This was exactly the experience we needed to get out of the city and reconnect with nature, while still enjoying all the comforts of home and more. The Tipi was surprisingly spacious and absolutely comfortable. We delighted in all the comforts of the glamping experience. Showering, cooking, eating outdoors, stargazing from the hammock and watching the strawberry moon rise over the hill were all highlights. The dirt road in was not bad at all and we surely hope to return again.

Tiny Cabin in Payson-backed to the National Forest

Perfect last minute girls mountain getaway. We were not coordinated enough to utilize the loft bed (would be perfect for kids) however we really enjoyed our stay. Kitchen was fully stocked, shower was hot and the water pressure was great. We spent hours just sitting on the porch. Short drive to hiking trails and hiking off the back porch was also great. Quiet little village full of animals! 10 minute walk to the village bar/restaurant/general store. We will be back, thank you!
