House vacation rentals in Mahone Bay

We had 7 people travelling together and this place had all the room and amenities we needed. Big kitchen to cook in, great common area to relax in together and a fabulous view of the lake. It was early in the season so too cold to use the pool but it looked like it would be great. Thanks for having us!

Fantastic hosts. Dream heritage property with total privacy and a heated pool in a park like setting; we booked that property pretty much every year for the last seven years. Rob and Barb are constantly improving the property, there is always something new to discover, whether it's a new appliance, or a brand new landscaped river frontage inviting you to sit and watch river and ocean life whilst sipping a glass of tasty red provided with the welcome basket. We enjoyed eating out at the Lunenburg restaurants, as much as we enjoyed cooking a delicious meal at their place, which is fully equipped, one can easily cook up a gourmet meal. Golden! He went above and beyond for us given the tight timeline, was very attentive, provided clear instructions and was more than willing to help with unforeseen circumstances. Another Great Stay at The Land Yacht! This was our second time staying at The Land Yacht, and it was just as wonderful as we remembered. They have everything you need for a relaxing and comfortable getaway. The indoor pool was amazing, and the views of the ocean are absolutely breathtaking. One of our favorite moments was reading a book in the solarium while listening to the rain—pure bliss. The peaceful atmosphere, thoughtful amenities, and beautiful setting make this a truly special place. We can’t wait to return again!

Nancy's backyard Brooke home was gorgeous when we first walked in you could tell that it was very clean we loved all the plants it was very spacious beddings were very clean and comfortable both washrooms were very clean downstairs was very surprising had a small gym lots of board games one of the largest TVs I've ever seen great for movie Nights the kitchen was fully equipped it was easy access Nancy even got my mom a bottle of wine for her birthday celebration honestly the host was great we had no issues it wasn't as private as we would like as my mother is a very heavy smoker but the backyard was amazing the deck was super large the pool was amazing she had lots of furniture the only thing that would have made the rental even better is if she had a hot tub because the pool was cold this late in the season and it would have been nice to get into a nice warm hot tub after the swim I had no complaints about the rental I only wish Airbnb gave me more space to write a better review

Our family’s last get together to end the summer and it was perfect for us. We loved the outside area and spent most of our time sitting outside on the deck overlooking the lake and pool and the campfire was so nice to have as well. We will definitely be back next year! Thank you!

Really the perfect house for vacation. Great welcome and lots of little touches. The house is in a dream location, lovingly decorated and perfectly equipped. There's really nothing missing here. Super nice host with great tips and very good accessibility. If we come back to Nova Scotia, we will definitely book the Secret Beach House again. Dear Courtenay, Thank you so much for everything. We had a lovely weekend get away stay. The dome had all the necessities as well as a sauna. Lots of wildlife too.

Charming home that is very clean and well cared for with nice design touches. Well stocked kitchen. Appreciated the chance to do laundry. Cozy spaces that are suitable for small groups. Outdoor space was not as inviting as anticipated.

The house was beautiful and perfectly suited our needs! The beds were comfortable, the heat was perfect and we felt at home. Matthew and Billy were extremely responsive and we were satisfied with everything and their resolution of a small issue we had! We will be going back to stay here again for sure!

We had a great stay at Blue Rocks - cottage was spotless and very comfortable. The cottage is in a great location for local hiking trails and bike routes on the South Shore. Hot tub and sauna were amazing, and despite somewhat awful weather on our weekend, we would definitely return.

Amazing stay in an adorable, well furnished and colorful cottage close to the sea. The cottage itself has everything you need, including a wonderful hot tube. The location is just perfect, very quite and close to the sea as of the main touristic attractions. Last but not least, Sean and his husband were fantastic and so friendly - they made our stay even better. We Will definitely come back :)

The property is truly amazing! The views were spectacular, the host was very friendly and quick to respond, and everything was very clean. We had a group of 12 and had plenty of space. The hot tub and sauna are wonderful additions and added to our experience. Alicia is a superb host and I highly recommend staying here.

Shorty’s Place was a clean and comfortable stay for our time in Lunenberg. It was a quick drive into downtown for a day of art galleries and food, then we enjoyed the late afternoon and evening on the back deck, reading and waiting for our laundry to dry on the line. Thanks, Peter!

The Pearl was a beautiful place to stay! From the furnishings and artwork, to the amenities (like a hot tub and sauna) and private surroundings, it had everything you would hope to find in a vacation getaway. Liz put extra care and thought into this home, and it shows. Fresh bread and eggs for breakfast, scented candles for a cozy ambiance, wood for an indoor fire or a heat pump for added warmth, and soap, shampoo, lotion, etc that is free of many allergens and chemicals) just to name a few. I honestly could have left half of what I packed at home as this place has it all! My only regret is I wish I had more time to spend there. Don't delay in booking this space.

The house was amazing. Very remote and quiet. But only 30 minutes to busier locations with shopping, restaurants, etc. Within 10 minutes, RoseBay Bistro & Market and Dear Emma Pizza (incredible!) provide all you need otherwise. The beach is incredible. Sitting in the chairs at the edge of the beach, over the dunes, is the perfect spot for morning coffee or a happy hour cocktail! The house design is like a piece of art - the many levels and nooks make it a very unique experience. It is well furnished with all sorts of things you might want to enjoy your stay. Very thoughtful. We look forward to a return visit.

Beautiful spot! Although the weather wasn't great it was peaceful and relaxing. Our kids fished all weekend and loved it. The house was beautiful and clean. Chris was always responsive to questions. Great stay!

Not 1 complaint. The hosts thought of everything a guest might need for a comfortable stay and had it there. My friends and I had a really great time and enjoyed the hot tub, fire pit and propane fire table. We will have to come back to try the sauna. 10/10

We loved our stay by the sea! Lots to do in the area (you’ll need a car)—we came before the usual season and had so-so weather but even rainy days spent reading in this cabin were a delight. Great amenities and kitchen was well-equipped.

We were definitely “wowed” by this beautiful property from the moment we arrived onto our departure. We didn’t want to leave! The kitchen was well appointed with boating for anything to prepare a wonderful meal! This is my favourite Airbnb and I have stayed in ALOT! Whoever goes to Atlantic Pearl will not be disappointed.
