Lots of amenities like batteries for charging and lights in the yurt. Really didn't need to bring much at all. Everything you need is already there.

Was worth every penny, owners were very nice, and the place was super clean and comfortable. Will come again!

What a unique and beautiful place! The Mill will forever be a one of my favorite places to have ever stayed! Thoughtfully decorated, comfortable and welcoming. It felt as though we traveled back in time all with the modern touches and comfort. Lori is an amazing host and made us feel welcomed and at home.

If you like a peaceful country setting with beautiful walking areas (among occasional passing goats too!) and a cozy woods cabin, this is the place for you. Only minutes from downtown Stoughton, warm generous hosts, and friendly neighbors.

Arbor Hill House is one of the best Airbnb’s I’ve ever stayed in! It was cozy, spacious, and felt so homey. We had a group of 5—two couples and a single person—and there was plenty of room for all of us to have our own space. The living room is very accommodating for big groups, with a large sectional couch, recliner, and dining table with comfy rolling chairs. And the screened in porch was the perfect place to enjoy the beautiful weather! The loft is awesome. The bed is very comfortable and the attached bath is spacious. The sauna worked wonderfully and was a favorite accommodation amongst our group! It can fit two people at a time. And the overall vibe was perfect. Very 70’s, lots of thriving plants, and warm lighting. Last but not least — Josh was the best host! Josh left thorough instructions so we would be comfortable during our stay and was very easy to get in touch with. And the home was SPOTLESS! So clean the couch had vacuum lines on the couch. Literally 10/10!

This is our second time staying here. We appreciate the location and your place is spacious and comfortable. It was fun to walk across the street and rent a Kayak.

Julia’s place was perfect for our family and friends, and Julia was such quick and thoughtful communicator before and during our stay. A great location with a ton to do on the property and nearby.

Beth was very communicative before and during our stay. The house was nicely decorated, and furnished clean and exactly as we expected. I appreciated that we were able to leave without starting laundry, dishwashers, etc. The kitchen had a lot of useful utensils and supplies. We didn't do much cooking, but we could have easily prepared most anything we wanted. The beds and furniture was very comfortable. There were plenty of games and activities to do at the house; we did not utilize the community rec areas, but that was only due to our own agenda and time limitations. My only recommendation would be that blackout curtains in the bedrooms would have been greatly appreciated. I was up at 5:30am some mornings because of light pouring into the bedroom on the main floor.

Our family absolutely loved staying here! Everything was as described and the photos were accurate but what you can't capture in a photo necessarily is the "Calm and Peacefullness" the accommodations provided with the beautiful scenery. The layout of the rooms were perfect for 4 adults and 1 child. Separate areas for all of us to chill amd yet still be together. Would love to return here every year!

From the time we booked we had feedback and communication, cant say enough about the attention to detail and supplies offered for our stay, comfortable, clean and just what we wanted for our getaway!! 5 star! If we could rate higher we would!!!

Carolene's place is such a gem! Beautiful and peaceful. We especially appreciated the provided list of places to check out/things to do in the area. Highly recommend the local Amish bakery if you happen to be there on a Friday or Saturday.

John and Sue were sooo sweet!! She made us a giant tub of delicious granola which our family devoured with our fruit and yogurt. He gave us a tour of the cabin and where to find things. We had our family's children for lunch and they LOVED the game room! The cabin is BEAUTIFULLY decorated and I loved the cabin theme throughout the entire house, including the bathroom. In addition to all of that, my family LOVED the peace of the cabin both inside and out.

We loved every minute of our stay at the lake house! The house is gorgeous and immaculately clean. We loved waking up to the view of the lake. The kitchen was well equipped, and they even had dog beds for our 2 dogs. Gracie was very responsive with any questions. There are a few cute cafes and shops in the nearby town, and Princeton, a bit further away. We really liked the European Bakery and Heirloom Pantry/Kitchen and kind of made a morning of visiting the shops. BBQ place recommended in Montello is also AMAZING!

We were in town for a wedding and needed a place we could stay where we could leave our dog crates during the day. We got upgraded to a bigger cabin since they had space. It was perfect! Thank you for the stay!

My husband, two dogs and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the cabin! The point of my vacation was going somewhere we could take our dogs and this was the perfect spot to relax with them for a few days. Everything was clean and there was a perfect amount of space for us to relax. It was very quiet in the neighborhood and most of the time it felt like we were the only ones around. It was great to be able to walk to a very nice restaurant and bar a minute or two down from the cabin since we wanted to stay close. The only thing that bummed me out was we went at the end of May and the dock wasn’t put out - and I was hoping to spend time sitting out on the water. That could have been me not realizing the typical “season” but had assumed it’d be out so I recommend checking if that’s important to you :)

Beautiful location with great views of the countryside, about 10 minutes from the town of Avoca. Lots of wildlife along the drive. Wish we could have spent more time at the property, will look to stay there again next time I'm in the area!

My family and I stayed at the Driftless Escape Cabin and had a wonderful time! The interior was even more beautiful in person with plenty of space for my whole family. The Kitchen was well stocked, the beds were very comfy and they had everything you needed. The property was gorgeous with lots of open space and amazing views. We loved playing in the yard and s’mores by the fire. And even though the cabin is close to town, we still felt like we were miles away in nature and truly disconnected!!

Debbie was very communicative before and during our stay. The property has plenty of yard room for outdoor activities and we loved that we didn’t feel stacked up against a bunch of other houses. The driveway can accommodate a group of cars and we loved the reclining couch in the basement. I’d highly recommend this property.

The cabin was a lovely peaceful place to spend a week in between two big events. It really felt like a home away from home and it was absolutely what we needed. We were about 15 minutes from good food and some local shops and an easy drive into Madison. Would definitely recommend for anyone heading to Madison for graduation or another event and isn’t wanting to stay in Madison proper.

Came here for my spring break wanting to get out of the city and enjoyed my entire trip! The cabin was beautiful and the Rock River was majestic to gaze upon from the back porch. While I would have enjoyed more to do within walking distance, a drive as little as 30 minutes will get you to some wonderful places.

We had an amazing stay! Dan was great with recommendations and instructions! The place was clean private area and just like the pictures. Look forward to booking in the future! My mom had a great birthday weekend!
