Vacation rentals with a fire pit in Madison County

It couldn’t have been a more ideal weekend! This is truly a house you’d love to call your own. We spent our daughter’s wedding weekend in Athens here, and we can’t express enough how wonderful the home, the grounds, and our host, Margaret, were. We’re already excited about coming back for football season. We’re so thrilled to have discovered this hidden treasure!

A great place for getting together and relaxing with friends. The host and accomodations were first rate. To us it was quiet, private and beautiful. Everything we could have hoped for. If the Willow house doesn't make you feel comfortable and at home...no place will.. would recommend it 100 percent to any of our family and friends... absolutely worth the money. This was my first Airbnb experience. Don was very helpful and I was very pleased with the home. It is a newer property and loaded with amenities. Making the reservation was easy and the check in and check out was seamless. I highly recommend Don’s place if you are traveling in the Athen, GA area.

This home was fantastic. Can house large groups and conducive to outdoor lounging or having a cozy weekend inside. Really enjoyed the proximity to downtown areas, and how comfortable it was. Highly recommend!

We chose Maggie’s place because it was close to our daughter’s wedding venue and looked like a pretty place for the bridesmaids to get ready and have photos that morning. It didn’t disappoint! Everything about it was beautiful-very clean and inviting. The linens are lovely and the owners went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. The record player gave us fun entertainment. The game cabinet was very well stocked. The bathrooms had toiletries. The kitchen had plenty of dishes and even all the things that make cooking easier (salt, oil, etc.). We enjoyed having a home base during a very busy weekend. Maggie was also very helpful and let us come back later after we checked out because we realized we had left my daughter’s wedding cake in the freezer! We are very grateful and recommend this place wholeheartedly.

This was the perfect stay for my family while our son was attending a UGA swim camp! It was clean, spacious, and had all the necessary kitchen accessories! John was super friendly and responsive. Perfect little side yard for our dog too. :) Less than a 10 minute drive to downtown and to UGA. We would absolutely stay here again!

Frank and Cindy’s place was the perfect location for anything on campus—just a quick 6-minute drive away. The home was cozy, with charming decor and thoughtful touches throughout. The kitchen was fully stocked with cooking essentials and coffee, and there were plenty of towels provided. The beds were incredibly comfortable, and parking was easy with space for two vehicles. We especially appreciated the flexible, accommodating hosts and the great variety of outdoor seating areas. Highly recommend!

We were in town for a week to prepare and celebrate our daughter’s wedding! The place was perfect for our bride to get ready with her friends! With some family still in town the next day it was a great gathering spot for a casual pizza night! Everyone raved about the space and surroundings!

My family and I loved our stay! Every little detail you can think of was well thought out. Child friendly which made it an extra plus for me! Will definitely come back!!!

Has a fabulous week at the condo, which is so close to the lake.... The most peaceful and relaxing place to stay..... We had a good time at the pool and enjoyed the local area. Wish we could have stayed for longer. Deborah was a great host.

The place is wonderful and feels new, actually I think it is. Everything was clean and well maintained. The layout of the apartment was really good. The only thing I think should be changed is the checkout time; 10:00 am is really early, maybe 12:00 pm will be a better time. Also, to have a Publix so close is wonderful. Jess was an absolutely fantastic and amazing host. She gave us suggestions on things for our dog who has bad anxiety and events that took place while we were there. We came for a family reunion and got everything we needed to wind down on their peaceful property. Walter was a gem too. We automatically looked for him when we left and came back. He’s an addition adorable fur host as well. We will definitely rebook this property each time we are in the surrounding areas. You definitely will find this a rare jewel in the area!! 🫶🫶🫶🫶

Clean and easy to check in. Very comfortable beds! Very very responsive host! We had an issue that was not any fault of theirs and they went over and above to help remedy it.

If you appreciate rustic history this is the place for you. The updating and modernization was just enough to be completely comfortable but also appreciate how old the house was that we were staying in. Yvonne was great and stayed in contact with us in case we had an issue finding the property (which we did not), and even had some bread from a local bakery waiting for us. The place was close enough town to enjoy all that Athens has to offer but also be able to enjoy the quiet Georgia countryside.

This place is a gem. We loved the peaceful atmosphere on the lake and played lots of board games and cooked a ton in their amazing kitchen. Their coffee game is on point with multiple ways to brew. Highly recommend this spot.

We had a perfectly relaxing few days at Apple Pie right after the craziness of Christmas! The house was spacious, just as described/pictured, and well-appointed. We lacked for nothing during our stay and the owners were great at communication...extremely responsive and helpful, and all check-in, check-out, and informational info was communicated efficiently and thoroughly. We also enjoyed all the extras...hot tub, spa space, etc. It was just a wonderful stay from start to finish!

Love this little cabin! I stay here on work trips all throughout the summer; it is a wonderful alternative to the typical hotels. Quiet and remote, and always clean.
