Vacation rentals with a patio in Madeira Island

This is a beautiful place! The pictures did not do it justice. It was open and spacious, we felt relaxed the minute we stepped in! We traveled with our 3 adult children and we had plenty of space. There were a lot of extra touches-fresh flowers, a cooler to use, swim towels, complimentary cake and wine, and blankets for use out on the patio. The parking was convenient as we rented a car for travel on the island. We took the path to town and wish we would have done this earlier to enjoy the beach. The view was mesmerizing and we even saw some dolphins! dolphins! We woredolphinsdolphins

The hosts were super responsive and amazingly offered us an earlier check-in time as their cleaning had finished earlier that day. The place was spotless and well stocked with everything you'd need to feel at home and having a dishwasher & washing/drying facilities made things feel so relaxed and the BBQ & hot tube was great to have for the evenings. The view was beautiful, and the house was a perfect size and location for a little romantic getaway. It isn't a long journey to get to areas like Funchal or Porto Monis, and there's a large number of PR walks nearby, too.

Cristina was a wonderful host, always available with helpful tips and recommendations. The apartment was very clean and tidy, furnished, arranged and equipped in the best of taste. Stunning view, very quiet, even if very near to the expressway, and because of that perfect located to get everywhere easy and quick. Restaurants of all kind available within short driving time. Overall - very advisable!

Filipa was a great host and this is one of the best AirBnb’s we have stayed in. Great location, only a short walk into town and the area is surrounded by cafes, restaurants and a park just over the road. Great space with lots of attention to detail and very clean. We loved Funchal and will definitely be booking this accommodation again when we return. Thank you for such a great stay.

this place is absolutely fantastic we loved it hear, nicely out of the the way but still a short drive to lovely bars and resteraunts, I really couldn't recommend it high enough, what lovely people great comunication and greeting on arrival. Wonderfull

We liked the place and felt very comfortable. Communication was friendly and fast and we were provided with all the information. The house was sparkling clean when we arrived and a bottle of wine and water and a traditional spice cake were ready for us as a welcome. We were very pleased about that. The beds were comfortable and the kitchen is equipped with everything you need. I would like to highlight the showers, which were not only very spacious, but also the fantastic water pressure, which made showering very pleasant. The complex is designed around the parking lot, so that units 1-5 are below the parking lot and the large 6 (the house we stayed in) is directly connected to the parking lot. So you always have a free parking space, no matter when you arrive. The village character of the place occasionally leads to dogs barking and the rooster crowing, but that didn't bother us. We will be back.

We have nothing but good things to say about Luis and his place. First, Luis is a thoughtful host who responded quickly to our requests and provided us with excellent recommendations. The place is beautiful, we had everything we needed. The bed is super comfortable. We had a car and the location of the accommodation was perfect for visiting all corners of the island.

Carla was a wonderful host! She provided detailed instructions, was responsive to our questions, and the apartment was very well appointed. The kitchen had everything you could need! Enjoying coffee on the deck, overlooking the water, was an unforgettable experience.

Excellent host, very friendly

Overall we had a great stay (8 nights) at Sofia's apartment. We loved the ocean view and the remote aspect, although the street that leads to it gets very busy (even more than we thought) during the day due to the nearby Anjos waterfall which, on occasion, can make parking a bit difficult (the apartment doesn't come with a parking sport so, as others mentioned, you need to park on the street). The check-in went smooth as the directions Sofia provided us were clear and easy to follow. Inside, the apartment is spacious, the 2 bathrooms were a big plus for us, and it had all the amenities we needed. The bed is very comfortable, though we switched the pillows and used the small pillows from downstairs as the main ones were a bit too big/stiff for us, after this change we slept great every night. The surroundings are silent, the only thing you hear are the ocean and the water running to the next-door banana plantation. We had a great time, Sofia was very kind, and we recommend this house!

From the moment we arrived, we felt truly welcomed by Fernando. The villa is situated in a beautiful and quiet location, offering amazing views and a lovely pool that's perfect for cooling down. You can really feel the warm hospitality of the host right away. During our stay, we had a small issue with the toaster, and Fernando replaced it immediately — a great example of his attentiveness and care. We had a peaceful and relaxing time, and I can wholeheartedly recommend this place to anyone looking for a serene getaway. Please note that the ascent to the house is quite steep, but this is completely normal given the island's topography — and the views are well worth it! Highly recommended. The best part about the apartment is the stunning view you have outside. Carlos was really helpful and even helped us with our luggage when we checked in. As mentioned, the house is a little older and you will find some bugs downstairs (the bedrooms are upstairs). Carlos provided us with some spray which we could put by the doors and which would keep the bugs outside. I would really recommend his place especially if you like to spend most of your day outside since you’ll have a lot of space to do so.

Wonderful apartment right on the ocean. The apartment was very spacious and has everything you need. Also has easy parking just outside. An extra bonus is all the great restaurants nearby!

Great location and views. Plane and street noise did not disturb us as we kept bedroom windows closed. Everything you need to cook. WiFi can be a little spotty. I would stay there again.

Gorgeous spacious apartment walkable to everything in downtown Funchal - restaurants, shopping the water, musicians in the restaurant area were so fun! (Not near the house). All of Funchal seems to have some construction especially behind this building but I suspect u can’t escape that anywhere in Funchal. Otherwise it was a fantastic apartment and would definitely rent there again. Hosts were wonderful

This condo was beautiful, clean, and had an amazing view. Plenty of seating, close to a grocery store and many restaurants. The infinity pool which looked over the ocean was lovely. We would definitely recommend.
