The Clonmellon Lodge is an 18th c. gothic mini castle recently restored, newly refurbished bathrooms and kitchen, all in one floor, with easy access to the grounds of Killua Castle. An Lochta is a converted , two story, 19th century grain store, surrounded by a mature and carefully tended garden on a small farm, set in the idyllic rustic peace and quiet of rural Co Meath. Despite our seclusion, we are just 10 minutes from the M1 motorway, 1 hour from Dublin and within easy reach of the major historical sites of Meath, Louth, Cavan and Monaghan. (Unfortunately the layout of the building renders it unsuitable for wheelchair users).

This was a perfect stay for us in a stunning location and a beautiful property. The bungalow is immaculate with such perfect attention to detail in the decor and furnishings. It’s really quite breathtaking! We highly recommend it. Aiobheann is an amazing host and we feel extremely blessed to have been able to stay in such a beautiful place. Diane’s cottage is every bit as beautiful and idyllic as it looks in the photographs. It’s spotlessly clean and beautifully presented in every way. The attention to detail for her guests really stands out! We enjoyed a peaceful, relaxing and highly memorable evening, night and morning before continuing our travels… Diane is very attentive and quick to respond to any questions or requirements. Thank you. We had a great time in Cootehill. Lucia was a friendly and kind host. The apartment is located in the center of this small town, and everything you need, such as a supermarket, pharmacy, restaurants, pub, and post office, is easily accessible. The park with its large forest is particularly beautiful in Cootehill.
