House vacation rentals in Mackinaw City

Makayla’s place is gorgeous and she’s a wonderful host. The place could have had less (cute) decorations for those traveling with young kids. We hid most of them but missed one or two that eventually became casualties of the 3 year old. But Makayla handled it with grace. And was so kind in her exchanges going so far as to mail back the toddler’s favorite PJs and stuffy.

Ive rented alot of air bnbs over the years. So far? This has been the best experience ive had. The house was amazing. Super clean. Comfortable beds. Super well stocked with amenities that most places dont provide. Jennifer is super easy to communicate with and get ahold of. We will be back next year:)

Our family had a wonderful stay at Yvonne’s home during early summer. The condo was very clean, clutter free, tastefully decorated, and fully stocked of ALL supplies (facial and bathroom tissue, detergent, softener, coffee and all the accompaniments, towels, etc.). The location was fantastic, which made it easy for us to enjoy time in Harbor Springs, Petoskey, Cheboygen, and Good Hart. It was off the beaten path, quiet, and very beautiful. We enjoyed relaxing at the outdoor pools and hot tub. Yvonne communicated very well and responding quickly to any inquiries we had. She’s a wonderful host with a great home! Do not hesitate to book her home if it’s available!

The cabin was even better than expected! Nicole responded to every question that I had within 10 minutes. This was the perfect place for a kid free getaway and I think it would be just as fun in the winter as the summer. The location was perfect for visiting other cities if you want to travel around. We went to Petosky and Boyne city and visited Northern Michigan speedway on Saturday night. We will definitely be back!

Bill was the most attentive host we’ve ever had. He’s personable and communicates well and truly wants to make sure your needs are met. He met us at the cottage and did an in-person orientation of the home. I felt comfortable texting him if any questions came up later. This was a beautiful home and very well cared for.

The cabin was cozy and had great views. Parking is a bit limited if you have more than one vehicle but we made it work. Robert was great at responding to all my questions. There was also plenty of staples like salt, pepper, toilet paper, paper towel etc. I would definitely rent this place again.

Ashel’s home is decorated beautifully, comfortable and it’s situated perfectly between so many amazing spots to visit! The first set of stairs down to the beach are a bit of an… adventure, however they are completely manageable and worth the walk! My family enjoyed the property and beach so much during our stay! The countless fire pits along the property give you so many options to enjoy a bonfire and the water in so many ways! Ashel was an amazing host and so incredibly responsive to all of my communications!

Absolutely wonderful place. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Terry’s place. Loved the front porch and the chairs on the front lawn. Beautiful views and beautiful property. Very walkable to everything. Did some grilling but not much other cooking. We’re on vacation! However very well stocked kitchen. Very clean and comfortable place to stay with our family of four. Would definitely stay again.

This is a truly beautiful and impeccably clean home—an ideal place to relax and unwind. It’s incredibly peaceful and quiet, with breathtaking views in every direction. You can enjoy both the sunrise and sunset each day, and we even watched several freighters pass by on the water. In the distance, you can spot the iconic Mackinac Bridge. The location is perfect—just a short, easy drive to downtown Cheboygan, where you'll find great shops, restaurants, and bars. The fire pit is a standout feature and perfect for evenings under the stars. Plus, you can spend hours beachcombing and rock hunting along the shoreline. Communication with the host was excellent throughout our stay. I would absolutely recommend this place and look forward to coming back!

My husband and I came to celebrate our 2nd wedding anniversary. Alex was so kind from the start and communicated helpful information, giving detailed instructions and made it clear he was available for anything we needed whenever. We had a great stay and hope to come back and visit some day in the future. We had a great stay - this waterfront setting was a perfect place for Our family to gather for a wedding at Shanahan’s barn! The waterfront is gorgeous.. also loved that they had all of the little toiletries and paper products - perfect amount for a weekend and very convenient.

My husband and I couldn’t have been more pleased with this B&B!! It was exactly fit what we envisioned for our private little getaway following our wedding! It was so peaceful and relaxing, especially having the warm hot tub while we admired the gorgeous lakefront view!! Extremely kind hosts as well!! Couldn’t have been more pleased all around!! We cannot wait to come back!!

Great place for our large family! Quiet, peaceful and very private. Backyard had a nice VB net set up and beautiful surroundings with the trees and some trails. Pool table was fun for all ages. Had a great cabin feel and ambiance, especially with the room with the bunk beds! Fun was had by all ages with the pool table. Internet and cell service were spotty and best obtained while outside, which was a perk because we were able to be present to each other rather than to the happenings online.

Had a great stay with our two kids (3.5 and 6 yrs old). They were able to share the second downstairs bedroom and had their own bathroom. The place was just like the pictures, very beautiful. Had tons of fun exploring the area, our favorite places were the Grass River Natural area down the street, downtown Bellaire for the brewery and candy store and ice cream store, King Orchard further north was great for the kids, and finally we spent two days at Antrim Beach to play in the sand and look for rocks. Cooked a lot in the kitchen and made smores on the firepit a few times. The only negative is that the house is near a road so although it is very quiet and peaceful, there are occasional cars going by which you can't see but only hear.

We had a fantastic experience at this Airbnb! The price was very reasonable, the space was super clean, and it’s in a great location — close to everything, yet still nice and quiet. The host was responsive and easy to communicate with, which made check-in and the whole stay smooth. We really enjoyed using the fire pit in the evenings. The only small suggestion would be to consider adding a bug light near the bonfire area and maybe near the entry doors as well, just to help with mosquitoes at night. Overall, it was a great stay, and we’d absolutely come back!

This was a truly peaceful retreat. The view of the lake was even more stunning in person, and the house was impeccably clean. Emillie was a wonderful host, and I would definitely rent again.
