House vacation rentals in Lynchburg

We had the absolute best time staying here. We had two families staying together, 10 total. With more than enough space! The location was perfect. The space was clean and cozy. We had the best time and made some amazing memories with our friends. Also we slept at night on the third floor with a window opened and it was so quiet outside! Thank you for opening your home to us!

Three couples wanted a central meeting place to spend some quality time catching up with each other. It was just the perfect place! We had a nice time talking in the hot tub, around the fire on the cozy porch, and in the exquisite pool. The goats added a nice touch to this country setting. The kitchen had all the cooking supplies we needed and more. We did a good bit of eating onsite so that was appreciated. We unfortunately didn’t use the pingpong table or other games but they were there to enjoy. There were plenty of towels and the new washer and dryer were great. It’s a great location to experience the many local wineries. Bobbi and Keith were excellent hosts, friendly and gave great suggestions of things to do. Everything about our stay was wonderful. We hope to return soon!

Our family of four needed a quiet get away, and we enjoyed the beautiful days and evenings, inside and on the deck! Hikes nearby, spa nearby, restaurants, grocery, gas also nearby. Great resort year round! Lots of activities if you want them, and lots of peaceful nature if you want. Great!

This is a very cute, clean condo with everything you need to feel comfortable. The master bed is very comfortable, which is always a huge plus for AirBnBs! Having the Wintergreen market and a couple restaurants within walking distance was great, and this is a great "base camp" for plenty of beautiful hiking, wineries, and scenery in the area.

Joes property was absolutely beautiful! The views are amazing from the cozy hot tub on the back porch. Everything was super clean and the beds were super comfortable! This airbnb would be great for a family stay or a friends getaway. It was everything we needed and more! Joe was quickly responsive when i had questions. This air bnb is stocked with EVERYTHING you may need. Beautiful spot, 10/10!

This is our family’s third stay here, so obviously we enjoy this beautiful property! The home is well stocked, spacious, family friendly, and very welcoming. As a bonus, this was our first stay during pool weather, so we were able to utilize the beautiful pool/hot tub area. Bedford is a lovely location. Quaint small town but close to lots of recreation.

A wonderful property nestled in the Wintergreen Resort. While not part of the resort, the amenities and surrounding Breweries offered plenty to do while not relaxing in the hot tub or on the private deck. Beds were comfortable, and there was plenty of space for our family to spread out. Access to WiFi and movie channels were convenient and supplemented the secluded feel for a well balanced vacation. Highly recommend this rental for families and groups looking to get away for a relaxing and enjoyable time in the mountains. Bring your cameras and charge your phones to take pictures of the breathtaking views at and around the house!

We stayed at Diana’s place while visiting with our daughter for our annual apple picking trip. Her place was a bit far out away from things, which we expected. It was cozy and had everything we needed for the weekend. I would highly recommend this cozy cottage when you want to get away!

Everything was great! From instructions to getting to the farm to checking into the house. House was clean and it fit our family of 6 comfortably. Scenery was amazing and farm animals looked great. I love that the farm help let us be involved as much as we wanted. We could watch him feed the animals or help him feed. He also told us a lot about them. There are walking trails but they could be marked better. Check out was late enough to sleep in a little and have breakfast and not rush out. The horseback riding was great! I learned a lot and very helpful. We had a great time reconnecting with family and enjoying nature.

A small group of friends and I stayed at Anne’s place for our best friends wedding. Needless to say, this was the perfect spot. Anne’s place was utterly beautiful and peaceful. The house was so cozy and quaint, the family photos on the wall that depicted the home from a different generation made our stay that much more special. We felt so at home and it was the perfect place to unwind and celebrate our friend. Anne went above and beyond by providing us with fresh eggs, juices, and a variety of other breakfast items. Cooking in the rustic kitchen was hands down our favorite part! 10/10 would recommend staying at Anne’s place!

We came to the lake house for a reset. It absolutely did not disappoint! Some of the views felt right out of a movie scene. The hosts were also super responsive, added personable touches to my visit, and had everything I could possible need for a fun & relaxing lake weekend. I especially loved the wrap around porch, the view of the sunrise over the lake, & hummingbirds all around!

We loved the attention to detail that Danielle gave with our particular stay. We were there for a graduation and she included a grad balloon and we also had dogs and she provided a little goodie bag for them and dog bowls, etc. Nice touches!

Absolutely loved this place! Great trails close by, friendly neighborhood. The home was sparkling clean; check in was extremely easy. I will definitely recommend this home and will be there again!

We unfortunately were in Moneta this trip for a funeral so we didn't get to vacation or enjoy Smith Mtn Lake, but for those who plan to stay for that reason, the home is within 7-8 minutes of the Marina and close to restaurants and the grocery store. It is nicely remodeled and in a very quiet location. It is well furnished for your stay, has a nice screened in porch, back deck for outdoor dining and a large yard. Rock was very responsive and helpful whenever we reached out to him. It is on somewhat of a busy road and near a slight curve so be cautious to watch for traffic before turning down into the driveway.

This was our second time staying at Kira’s place and it was another great experience. We travel with our dogs and the cabin is the perfect place for them explore the woods or run around the yard. The cabin itself is very well equipped with kitchen appliances, electronics etc. The cabin is conveniently located less than 15 minutes from downtown where you can visit Three Roads Brewing or one of the several restaurants.

Great house! Very spacious and lots of room. House was close to everything we needed! Plenty of space and very clean! Loved the home!

La Place is a treasure that offers everything you want from a vacation. Affordable luxury, immaculate environment, and walkable from city hot spots. The building itself has been meticulously curated and renovated - it feels historic but not old - and was spotless, save for a few tough areas. Every bed was beautiful and comfortable, every closet offered luggage stands and other extras, both bathrooms are stunning, updated, and offer complimentary soaps. The kitchen is stocked, living room has a game closet, and upstairs laundry is a life saver. The area is clean and quiet and felt safe to walk everywhere, even after dark. Hosts are friendly, proactive, and helpful - we wanted for absolutely nothing. We're already planning a return, highly recommended!

We loved our stay while we were visiting LU. Great location, nice clean home, and perfect for our family visit. Can't wait to come back!

Lovely little house with lots of thoughtful touches! Enjoyed our stay at The Overlook with easy access to downtown Lynchburg and the historic districts.

I had a wonderful stay in Justin's beautiful and comfortable basement guest suite. The neighborhood is beautiful and very quiet. The suite has a private entrance and instructions for entry were very clear. There is a wonderfully large tv, perfect for sinking into the comfy sofas and streaming or watching a DVD from the available movie library. The bed was very comfortable. We will definitely stay here again during future visits to Lynchburg.

First time visiting Lynchburg and using Airbnb! Hallin And Co. could not have made our first experience easier. Great communication throughout, and unit was exactly as described and pictured. Great location, walkable to many restaurants and hiking/walking paths. Unit was spacious, extremely neat and clean, and loved the balcony. Would highly recommend this unit!

We had a great time staying here. All the beds were super comfy with nice sheets. Plenty of space to spread out and move around without stepping on each other. We loved hanging out in the garage game room. The kids enjoyed exploring outside as the weather was beautiful. The patio table was nice to enjoy dinner on. Kitchen was stocked with everything we needed-could’ve used a toaster but maybe we just couldn’t find it. They left us with yummy cookies and a graduation sign to help celebrate our son’s graduation. Definitely will stay here again!

Everything you could want in a host and place to stay. The house is beautiful and cheaper than hotels in the surrounding area. The hosts were very proactive and very responsive. You will not be disappointed if you book this stay. Snacks left for us in the kitchen was definitely a nice surprise as well!!!!!

The bright beach-like aesthetic was really enjoyable. Chocolates and bottled water welcomed us, and we took advantage of the local postcards that would be stamped and mailed for us! Nespresso machine with a variety of pods was a treat for my daughter and me. Beds gave us both a very comfortable night’s sleep after a long day of driving followed by a 3-hour tour of Liberty University. The neighborhood was peaceful, and family-friendly. We would be happy to stay again and recommend it to others.
