The space
Named after the Sardinian word for “dawn,” Nea gazes out on breathtaking views of the sunrise over the coastal Pula plain. Italian architect Maximilliano Fuksas designed the home as a “living sculpture,” with 3 distinct forms united by a large pool terrace with sweeping mountain vistas. Situated within Is Molas Resort (home to one of Italy’s finest golf courses), the villa is a short drive from Nora Town.

Cocooned within earthy-pink facades, the cavernous interiors provide a cool retreat for relaxation and dining. Naturalistic forms and tones harmonize beautifully with the mid-century modern aesthetic of the furniture and light fixtures. One room features an open, chef-grade kitchen serving a beautiful dining table, flowing into a separate living room (perfect for siping digestifs of mirto liqueur). There is also a peaceful office space for business travellers. Plentiful windows frame the mountains and flowering landscape, while glass doors open to generous outdoor living areas in both the sun and shade.

One of the finest resorts in Sardinia and Italy, Is Molas features 27 holes of championship golf, extensive biking trails, and haute-cuisine dining. Take a short drive into Nora for shopping, dining, and extraordinary Punic-Roman archeological treasures, or drive up the coast to the regional capital of Caligari. The famed beaches along the Bay of Chia are also within easy driving distance.
