The space
Villa Galapagos is a stunning, four-bedroom home on the Croatian island of Hvar, a jewel of the Split Riviera famed for its enchanting beaches, lavender fields, delicious wine, and world-class resorts. Perched on the western edge of the island, just outside Hvar Town and walking distance to Pokonji Dol Beach, the villa enjoys panoramic views of the verdant coastline and Adriatic Sea from its ample pool terrace, interior living areas, and three primary bedrooms. Accommodations for eight form an ideal haven for families, groups of friends, and destination wedding guests.

Savor long days and evenings within the privacy of the villa's lush estate, stepping into the swimming pool for a refreshing dip, and basking in the brilliant sunlight on comfortable loungers. Kindle the wonderful rustic grill for an afternoon barbeque, and relish your lunch alfresco at the large table on the loggia. Mix cocktails at the outdoor bar and marvel at the hues of the sunset sky.

Multiple sets of glass doors invite the Adriatic breeze and ample natural light into the home. The open-plan living area—luminous by day and serene by night—provides a cozy setting for intimate gatherings. The kitchen is fully equipped and serves a breakfast bar and a sea-view table for six, and the salon includes a TV for relaxing downtime. Fresh white finishes accentuate the beautiful Adriatic light while creating a lovely counterpoint with the vibrant modern paintings and rustic wood beams. A wood-burning fireplace and underfloor heating keep you toasty in the fall and winter months, while air conditioning keeps you cool in summer.

Three of the four bedrooms have double beds, while the fourth has a pair of twins. The three double bedrooms enjoy sea views and doors to furnished outdoor areas. Both the master and primary guest suite enjoy ensuite bathrooms and private balconies.

Villa Galapagos offers a wonderful balance of seclusion and convenience near the heart of Hvar. Pokonji Dol Beach is just a half-kilometer from your door, while Hvar Harbor and Beach are just a few minutes away by car. Be sure to visit the city's medieval and Renaissance buildings, explore the island's famous lavender fields, and drink the delicious wine from its terraced vineyards.
