Vacation rentals with a fireplace in Luray

We had a wonderful time at "The Burrow"; one of our best experiences with an Airbnb yet. The accommodations were top notch and our host's hospitality was above and beyond. The wrap around porch was our favorite place to relax at any time of day, with spectacular views . We enjoyed an evening next to the firepit with plenty of wood to burn. All in all it was a great experience and we would come back in a heartbeat!

This is our second year here for Memorial Day weekend and it was just as great as the first! Hap and Jennie are communicative and responsive to any questions we had. We enjoyed kayaking and boating on the river, hiking and relaxing on the porch and by the fire. The accommodations are comfortable and nice for our family (3 kids and 4 adults and a dog). The kitchen is the most well stocked air bnb I have ever seen! We cannot wait to return

My family and I had a great time staying in the home. The images did not do it justice. We were shocked by the beauty of the views and scenery from their home. The property was large and our kids had a blast running around and playing in the treehouse. Highly recommend the place if you like nature and scenery. The train did pass a few times but our kids (ages 2-7) were fine with white noise at night. It didn’t disrupt our time at all. We also really enjoyed the game room. My wife loved using the kitchen and we were thankful they kept some spices on hand. The home is very kid friendly and one of the best airbnbs we’ve stayed at. We grilled, watched the stars from the jacuzzi, picnicked and explored the grounds. We even got to use the laundry room with a quick help from the host. Highly recommend!!

Our stay at the Sunset Mountain Retreat was wonderful. The property has beautiful views, the kitchen and bathrooms were well stocked with everything we needed and the house was very clean! We were in the perfect location - got to visit luray caverns, a few trips into the national park, and had delicious meals at triple crown BBQ and west main market (and flotzis for ice cream!) and coal ridge brewery was fun for an early evening activity. Vanessa was a great host with great communication. Worth every penny and I will definitely be booking this house for our next trip to Shenandoah!!

This is one of those times when the home exceeds expectations and is much nicer than the photos (which are also amazing). We were immediately impressed upon entry. The huge picture window with the view of the bird feeder crowded with an array of birds and a few very fat squirrels had us walking right over to watch. The home was immaculate! The beds were all super comfy and the ambiance that greeted us made us feel immediately welcomed. There were fresh flowers in the living room and the house was impressively appointed with everything we could possibly need. After a day of hiking, we were all really excited to come back and chill in the hot tub and make a fire. I do believe this is the first time I have been excited to go back and just hang out at our airbnb, and I have stayed at quite a few really nice locations. My only suggestion would be getting a squirrel cone for that bird feeder to slow them down...they were shoveling the seed out of there like crazy and going to town on it. lol

We enjoyed renting Jackson Hole house. It is our second time being there and the house was clean and had everything that we needed for our stay. The house is spacious and everything was in working order.

We had an amazing weekend at the property, while we didn’t spend much time inside the house was very clean and equipped with everything we needed during our stay. They had firewood for us to burn, a working grill with propane, clean towels and bedding, etc. The hot tub and hot tub area could use some maintenance, head rest were repaired with duct tape (photos didn’t show this) it had a fair amount of dirt and build up in the tub. Lots of dirt and cobwebs in the hot tub area as well. It just didn’t feel clean and relaxing in that area. Everything else was awesome! We loved it and will definitely be back with friends.

Rosemary's Nest is awesome! The view off the front porch is a different movie every night. Old Rag, White Oak Canyon and the Skyline Drive are about 40 minutes away, Culpeper is 16 miles away. I suppose we were a little different type of guests, as we stayed ~six months. I was there to recover from a full hip replacement and the steep-ish driveway was perfect for physical therapy. Rosemary and Joe became like family, kept an eye out for us and they invited us upstairs for many delicious dinners and a Civil War quiz. If I have to get my other hip done in the next year or so, we certainly will be returning!

We arrived late after an evening graduation. Easy self check in. Welcome package was a nice touch. The place was equipped with what was needed for a enjoyable stay. We had a car issue and owner messege me with solutions. Fortunately our family picked us up and we were able to continue celebrating. Was able to charge battery with her charger and extension cord. Maya assistance kept the graduation celebrations the focus. Much appreciated !

We enjoyed our stay in this cozy cottage. We had everything we needed. Love that we could walk to shopping /restaurants and the Greenway. Our dog Annabelle was very happy with the Greenway too. Would definitely stay again Susan, Dennis and Annabelle

Debbie’s place is a very nice pet friendly apartment. Just as described and nice restaurants within walking distance. Just what we needed to rest after a long day of driving.

This was our 3rd time staying at Marc's place. It's such a unique space and the artistic flair in the apartment just adds to the wonderful experience. It's walking distance to anything you want to do in Staunton and the neighbors are all so friendly!

This was our second time stay at John and Maria’s Airbnb. We love it there!! Close to the airport, close to local shopping and restaurants. It’s easy to relax and make yourself feel like you’re at home. Beautiful area over looking a pond. Clean and stocked with all the amenities. The bathroom is awesome!! John and Maria are wonderful host. As long as they are renting out their Airbnb, we will stay there, if it’s available when we are coming to Charlottesville.

Our stay was amazing! The pool was excellent! The rooms were spacious and clean.

We stayed at Darwin’s beautiful and clean home for my son’s JMU graduation. We had plenty of space for all of us and we were very comfortable. Darwin is very responsive to any issue and the check in is very easy. I would easily recommend this place to anyone looking for a clean, comfortable, spacious, and quiet place to stay.

John and Gaby are excellent hosts. They were so flexible and kind that I felt as if I were communicating with family. It put me at ease and I was able to concentrate on all of the logistics that come with Mother of the Bride biz. I would definitely return for a weekend away and I wouldn’t hesitate to bring our dog with us. I had also rented two other locations in the vicinity and Maple Crest stood out, by far, as the most enjoyable experience and most personable interactions. We had the time of our lives and are very grateful that John and Gaby generously share their beautiful home!

What an incredible stay! The home was spotlessly clean—truly one of the cleanest Airbnbs we’ve ever stayed in. Every detail was pristine, which made it feel so welcoming and comfortable. It was also beautifully and tastefully decorated, creating a cozy yet stylish atmosphere throughout. The outdoor space was just as impressive—peaceful, private, and perfect for relaxing. We especially loved the fenced-in hot tub area, which made it easy to unwind while our dogs stayed safe nearby. And the sauna was such a cool and unexpected bonus! The location is secluded enough to feel like a true escape, yet close to wineries, restaurants, and everything else you might need. Communication with the host was excellent from start to finish. We had the most relaxing weekend with family and friends—this place is a true gem. We can’t wait to return!

Veronica is an amazing host and we had a wonderful time staying there. The place is true to the name - A Time to Chill. We felt right at home as soon as we stepped inside. The kids had a fun time playing arcade games and Foosball. Our evenings were spend mostly in the backyard either in the hot tub or having fun around the bonfire. We couldn't try the pizza oven and felt we should have stayed longer. Definitely, a highly recommended place and we will love to be back soon.

We had a great stay at Bo’s place. It was a nice time to just getaway for a couple days. The pool was a fun way to spend the time. Everything was very clean and the kitchen was awesome for food prep. Loved having my coffee out on the deck in the mornings!
