Apartment vacation rentals in Lugano

We absolutely loved our stay at this Airbnb! The location was perfect—just a short, scenic walk into the heart of Varenna, which made it so easy to explore the town, enjoy the lake views, and try out the amazing local restaurants. The apartment itself was clean, beautifully maintained, and had everything we needed for a comfortable and relaxing stay. It truly felt like a home away from home. Christian was also incredibly helpful and responsive, which made the whole experience even better. Would 100% stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Lake Como!

Eros was very friendly with a great attitude. Well spoken English and was very helpful with our many questions. He provided reservations for us at amazing restaurants and was very responsive to our requests. The I formation in his booklet in the house is very detailed and helped us tremendously with the ferry schedules, parking and other interests. We absolutely loved this place. What more can I say that hasn’t been said? The view is outstanding. You’re very high up the mountain. One morning we there was low lying clouds above the lake … and we were looking down on it from above the clouds. Clean and contemporary design, with a comfortable bed. You’ll need a car! The garage is very tight, so rent a smaller car. And getting there from Varenna involves a drive up a narrow winding road. It was fun drive … for me, at least.

The greeting upon arrival was excellent, we were offered an upgrade as some guests had cancelled due to weather, a nice gesture! The appartment was well furnished, clean and very comfortable. The location is excellent. Far enough from the busy touristic Bellagio but close enough to walk. The ferry pick up is just steps away. The grounds are immaculate and large enough to get a good run in every morning (5km) track style staying on the stone path that twirls the 42 hectar property. The grounds allow you great views of Tremezzo and Villa Carlotta accross the Lake and you can swim if the tempersture permits on the stairs that access the Lake. This is really a great place to stay! Nadia's place was beautiful - just as pictured! She was very flexible with our check in time and even volunteered to order and pick up pizza for us after a late arrival! She definitely went above and beyond. She was able to recommend local restaurants and services as well, which was greatly appreciated. In addition, the view is just spectacular! Definitely recommend! We are only sorry we coudn't stay longer.

I would give this place ten stars if I could! The view is amazing. The place was just like the pictures and it was nice to have a little kitchenette. Gianluca was so kind and a great host! Definitely would recommend!

If I could give it 10 stars I would!! The view is stunning, the flat is right on the lake and has everything you need. Betty goes up and beyond to make sure your stay is enjoyable!! She has thought of everything! The place was stocked with water, coffee, snacks and breakfast items and made it so easy on us. There are many small touches like shelf’s in the bedrooms, QR codes to access things and so many more that make everything easy. The parking space worked great and she met us there and even insisted on helping with luggage. I cannot say enough about the kindness of Betty and Markus!! She gave great recommendations. There is a beach here and they provided wet shoes and beach towels for swimming. And a covered area with nice chairs to lounge by the beach! The patio was awesome, overlooking the lake and where we loved to have our morning coffee! Only regret is that I wish we could stay a week. Highly recommend! Would love to come back! Beautiful apartment with magnificent view This apartment is very airy, with lots of big doors that open to fresh lake air. The views from the apartment is stunning. It is very clean and beautiful, with 2 bathrooms, 2 bedrooms and all the amenities including washing machine. There is reserved car park next to the apartment building. Lenno is a very small town and peaceful compared to Bellagio or Varenna, and we prefer it. Practical advise - there is ferry terminal close to our building but the ferry is very infrequent, so you must plan your trip with precision (we did not use it though). We drove to Cadenabbia (7-10 mins) as it has more ferries there but parking is almost impossible to get. If you can hire motorbike (Vespa) is better. Sabrina our host is very responsive and very helpful with all our needs. We would love to come back.

We had a good time. The apartment is still very new and modernly equipped. The bed is a pull-out. The furnishings are cozy and practical. The kitchen is very well equipped. The waterfront is a 10-minute walk. The apartment is the perfect base for a hike on the San Salvatore. The train station is at 3 minutes walking. You have to be aware that the apartment does not offer the possibility to sit outside; but we also did not advertise that.

All in EXCELLENT ! Large, clean and well located with easy access to amenities. Host was SUPER responsive !

We were so comfortable in Carmina’s lovely apartment. She is a wonderful host who welcomed us warmly and showed us around the apartment as well as gave us recommendations for restaurants and places to visit. Everything was as described and it was a perfect place to stay.

Francesco's place is lovely!! It's even better and bigger than the photos. The location is great, it's within walking distance from the main parts of town but nicely tucked away as well in a quiet neighbourhood. The apartment is spacious, clean, and quiet - it has everything you need. The view is absolutely incredible and so worth the stay. The pool is also such a nice perk. Francesco himself is so kind, accommodating, and helpful! We 100% recommend staying here.

Great stay at Denis apartment, apartment was simple but perfect for a few days and great location with tasty restaurants around. The view is breathtaking!

Fabulous stay in Lake Como in Ben’s place! The apartment is amazing and in a very convenient location, right next to lots of great bars and restaurants. The bed was very comfortable and window shutters on the outside meant there was no need for sleep masks. Extra towels when request and plenty of help and advice from Katerina, whenever required.

What an exceptional experience, thanks to exceptional hosts, in an exceptional place! I cannot recommend Sandra and Raffaele's place enough. Aside from the stunningly beautiful property, comfortable, and well-equipped accommodation, their kindness was truly very special and much appreciated. They generously took the time to collect me at the train station, and drop me off upon departure. My visit went by in a blink of an eye; I wish I could have stayed longer in what was a truly idyllic setting. I will absolutely return and grateful to have discovered their place. Perfect apartment with a fantastic view of the lake. We were only there for 5 days, just felt comfortable from start to finish. Everything you need is everywhere. The furnishings are of very high quality, from bed linen to towels to the complete kitchen equipment. Everything clean and great. The location is absolutely quiet, perfect to relax in a short time. We would have liked a little more sun, but you can also be good inside. You can also enjoy the view from the dining table and the couch... the few rain clouds ;) ... Roger is a friendly host, uncomplicated, quick to respond to questions, it doesn't get any better. If we find another gap in the occupancy calendar, we will be happy to come back.

Highly recommended!!! We felt very comfortable in Elkenda's apartment. The apartment was sparkling clean, and offers everything you need for a stay. It is very well equipped and there is plenty of storage space for luggage. Elkenda was very attentive and hospitable. She responded to our messages immediately. Unfortunately, we did not get to meet them in person due to our late arrival. We will be happy to come back! Thank you dear Elkenda

We had a lovely stay at Thereze’s apartment. Everything was perfect with the place and also because Thereze paid attention to details that touched us a lot as it was our first family trip with our new born. The location is very convenient as it is close to very nice areas at short driving distance. We tried all recommendations from Thereze and we were very satisfied with it. The view from the apartment is incredible ! We will be back!

I cannot recommend Nina and Fadri enough. They are extremely friendly and responsive and go out of the way to make your stay enjoyable. The view from the apartment is mindblowingly stunning. I had an absolutely perfect stay there and I will for sure look this up when I am next in Lugano.

Very nice stay at this establishment. As written, no air conditioning and so the weekend a little noisy with windows open. But really nothing excessive. We were there with a toddler and well suited for strollers. We recommend this property!

We had the most incredible stay at Mattia and Daniela’s place—an absolute gem in Lake Como. From the moment we arrived, everything was perfect: peaceful, quiet, and the kind of breathtaking views that truly stay with you. Mattia was beyond responsive and generous throughout our entire stay. He and Daniela went above and beyond in every way, making us feel genuinely welcome and taken care of. The home itself was spotless, beautifully inviting, and thoughtfully prepared for guests. It was exactly the peaceful escape we hoped for—if not better—and we’re already dreaming about coming back. Thank you again, Mattia and Daniela, for such an unforgettable experience. We were allowed to experience five wonderful days in the fantastic villa directly on Lake Maggiore. The villa is located below the street, so the noise from the cars can only be heard weakly (the way down with some stairs was no problem for us). We rented the apartment Limone on the 2nd floor: the apartment is very nicely decorated with a lot of taste and we found everything clean and very well prepared. The view of Lake Maggiore is fantastic! The communication and support by Sabine and Albert was very pleasant, our inquiries were answered quickly and kindly and competently. Cannero Riviera is a beautiful place that can be reached quickly on foot. We hope to spend days there again and highly recommend this place!
