Homely cottage in the national park

This cozy summer cottage is located in the heart of Bohemian Switzerland National Park in the north of the Czech Republic. The symbol of this National Park – Pravčická brána (Prebischtor) is only 7 km far from our homely cottage. This place is unique because of many possibilities for hiking, cycling, relaxing or for mushroom gathering as well. In a couple of minutes you can cross the border and enjoy other interesting places in Germany. The cottage offers 2 bedrooms with 3 beds upstairs and 1 sofa bed downstairs. The living room is a perfect place to sit with family or friends, play the desk games and have a nice time by the fireplace. Television has mostly German and Czech channels. The kitchen is well equipped with the fridge, the stove, the oven, the coffee machine, the microwave, the kettle and the dishes. Clean towels and linen, soap, shampoo and hairdryer are provided. There is a grill with seating in the garden; a roofed pergola with additional seating behind the cottage offers privacy and rest in the nature. Because we want to keep the unique atmosphere of the place, the cottage does not have a Wi-Fi connection.

The original roof wooden frame, exposed brickwork, original flooring, fully functional wooden stove helps you to imagine what people lived like at the beginning of last century. Great place! Loved the sauna and the fireplace, the bed was really comfortable and it was so relaxing to be in nature. Only recommendation, It has a Nespresso machine but no stores nearby sold pods so if you're a coffee fan I'd suggest bringing your own pods! We had a brilliant trip

The place is as in the pictures. The apartment is very large and the absolute highlight is the associated terrace. We felt very comfortable! Communication with Petra was hassle-free. She sent us the most important information in advance, check-in was easy and Petra gave us some tips for our stay. I highly recommend the place! :)

We (2 people) took a break in the magical bungalow for an extended weekend. The place is really ideal to recharge a bit of strength and has plenty of space. During the day you can take hikes, read in the garden and relax in front of the fireplace or bathtub in the evening. In the village of Ruzova there are a few restaurants (opening hours in the low season sometimes only on weekends) and a small supermarket - overall everything is rather quiet and relaxed. Thank you - the place is a dream!

It was pleasant to stay at the apartment. Franz responded quickly to questions. The location is very quiet, on top of the mountain, about 20–30 minutes walking distance from the train station and the center. The fridge was full – with chilled water, even wine and small sweets. Everything looked very inviting. Thank you! ☺️

We were on a hiking tour in Saxon Switzerland with a dog. Martina and Coni welcomed us super nicely, were extremely flexible when checking in and gave us great tips for the area. Through them, they even got a discount at a kayak rental nearby, and there were restaurant tips and a big hug for our dog Phanu. The apartment is clean and tidy, spartanly furnished but has everything you need. The location is great. We highly recommend the whole thing, especially if you want to hike in the area of the border, the Czech side is simply cheaper than the German one. You can't go wrong staying with Martina:)
