Absolutely lovely apartment in a gorgeous location. Anja's family are lovely and made us feel very welcome. The apartment itself is at the top of a steep road - walkable, but it's a shock to the system the first time - and Overath is a pleasant journey by rail or bus to Cologne, Bonn and the rest of the local area. It's very comfortable and clean, and the kitchen is small but very well-appointed. We had a wonderful.time.

Beautiful quiet location overlooking the lake. We immediately felt comfortable in the house. We'd love to come back!

Everything was great! The hosts are very friendly and were very helpful :) The room was very clean and you had everything you needed. The location was also great, you are in the city in 20 minutes or in nature in 5 minutes… depending on what you are planning. Thanks!☺️

If we had a question, they were immediately there to help us with helpful information and tips. ▪︎ A shopping market in the immediate vicinity (within walking distance in 2 minutes) is great. ▪︎ We would stay there again anytime and highly recommend the roof apartment with extra sleeping space in a separate room.

This was an amazing place to stay. You feel at home with the first step that you take into this cute house. It is cozy, comfortable, and is stocked with anything you need for the first day you arrive. The Kitchen is equiped with all the necessary things, ready for a chef to cook for family or friends. Located in the middle of a golf course, surrounded by trees with a sunny terrace, fire pit, hot tub and - especially - a swimming pound make it a great place to stay for a few days. The kitchen is well equiped and everything was super clean when we arrived. We recommend.

Great place for relaxing. Lots of nature and tranquility. Perfect with little kids. Almost no cars, play area, trampoline. Anja was so sweet to set up a paddling pool for the little ones. Swimming pool was especially beautiful for our big ones. Thank you. We will be happy to come back.

The Stranzenburg is a super cool and extraordinary location. In addition to the flair from the 15th-18th century, a neighboring property with a swimming pond, charcoal grill, etc. is also available. We were here with a group of friends and were able to spend an exciting weekend; our crime thriller dinner planned for the vacation also found the perfect location as a setting here! Ursula was always very easy to reach as a landlady and is also a great contact person. The cake that was baked and ready for the handover of the AirBnB by Ursula was also super delicious. We can therefore recommend the accommodation to anyone looking for something unusual and wanting to experience a special flair of the accommodation :-)

Everythinng worked fine for a two - month stay.. Fully equipped both in kitchen and furniture - wise. Nice and safe neighbourhood. Elena was easy to get hold of .
