Bed and breakfast vacation rentals in Lucerne

Very polite staff and very accommodating to our needs. The attic room was exactly as described and did include air conditioning, which is a rarity in Switzerland. Breakfast area was well organized and food was high quality. We had an early departure before opening and the staff kindly offered to prepare us a breakfast to-go. Overall, we were very happy with this choice as a base while we explored Lucerne. Felt very safe walking the nearby streets at night, and had easy access to a local brew pub with an outdoor patio for drinks or a meal (we only tried the former). Great value, and highly recommend!

We stayed at The Bed and Breakfast on our family vacation. The room was comfortable and fit 4 perfectly. There were plenty of beautiful bathrooms and the beds were quite comfortable. Breakfast was delicious. The lady who checked us in was very sweet and even helped us so that we didn’t have to pay overnight parking - we just had to change the time on our parking timer once. We enjoyed our stay and would recommend The Bed and Breakfast!

Maria is a good host who’s responsive to any questions you have, yet gives guests the privacy they wish. We had the room on the top floor which gives comfortable space for 2 of us - a bedroom with very comfortable bed, and a separate room with sofabed, with ensuite bathroom. Easy bus ride to the heart of Luzern. Breakfast provided was substantial. We especially appreciated the shared kitchen where we prepared our dinners.

A great place with atmosphere and really nice staff. Also, good location in the middle of the village. We will be back next time in Engelberg!

This place was spectacular. A real BNB experience, which my mother and I really enjoyed. Maria describes the place accurately… shared common spaces like bathroom and small kitchen. Rooms were comfortable and spacious and clean! And only a small number of rooms, everyone polite and respectful. She was so kind and communicative and a wonderful host, providing a delicious breakfast every morning at the hour of our choosing. Transportation to and from is very easy, and the walk into town along the lake is lovely, for more active/mobile travelers. I highly recommend!

Would highly recommend anyone to book this qaint little bed and breakfast. First time in a bnb and it was a very good experience that I would consider looking at more of them to book in the future. Loved the staff and a very clean, accessible homelike atmosphere! Thank you making Lucerne a great stop!

A beautiful house designed by the host himself. It has a great view of the lake from the breakfast area. Daniel and Susanne were very warm and accommodating - thank you for going above and beyond to make our stay comfortable. We also enjoyed the meals prepared by Susanne. We would recommend staying at their house in Weggis and the ferry ride from Lucerne is an experience by itself!

Large room, very large bathroom and a fantastic breakfast made the visit a special experience again!

What a beautiful lakeside getaway! The ever changing weather added to the charm, and the view of the lake from both my room and the breakfast area was absolutely stunning. Susan really outdid herself with breakfast - it was the best, offering a wide variety of delicious, locally sourced options. Plus, there was a kitchen with all the utensils and cookware if you wanted to cook.

Wow! What a beautiful, comfortable place. Eveline is so sweet and her breakfast spread was scrumptious. I wish we had more time with her and at her B&B!

Fantastic view and good hosts, they have been running the bed&breakfast for a long time so more professional than the standard Airbnb. Parking sometimes needs some organising when the 5 rooms are full (weekends for sure). Location up a hilly residency area, so it would seem it was a good choice for us to have a car, although I think they can help transport you if needed (but I can’t provide much info here since we didn’t use it). Thank you Susanne for the great breakfasts, would stay again!

Pictures don't do this beautiful property justice. It was the perfect stay for a mind-clearing, relaxing time away from it all. Susanne and Daniel are such excellent hosts. They built this incredible property from scratch with hosting in mind, and everything they do every day is done with huge hearts and soul. Even their friends who filled in for them for a day were sweet and made us feel very welcome. Views are indescribable, and you won't want to go away, but Weggis is the sweetest place and a great launching pad for a day in the city or a memorable cruise on the lake. Don't hesitate! Book it.

We had an excellent stay at Franziska’s. The entire family is incredibly welcoming. The room is modern and clean. Breakfast at the bakery was delicious! Would recommend to anyone staying in the Lucerne area.

We let an employee stay here for a week as we had a project nearby. Erika is very friendly. Unfortunately, there is a renovation and therefore it is no longer private. However, the info was communicated from the beginning, so no star deduction. But it would be great if this were not only on the host profile, but also on the listing of the room. Otherwise, everything was as described and our employee was very satisfied.

I was very satisfied with the beautiful room, the services such as laundry were washed, kitchen use and the very quiet location of the room. Erica has responded to my requests and I was able to spend a quiet time in my home office. If necessary, please come back and to recommend. Thank you

The villa is definitely worth a visit🙏 Lovely little room "Klewenalp" with lake view, practical bathroom for shared use, cozy breakfast room, great location (right at the boat dock), sweet balcony, super small shop for snacks, delicious breakfast, lovingly designed garden with SUP/ paddle boat - rental and very pleasant prices.

One of the best Airbnb experiences so far! Very friendly, communicative and uncomplicated staff. The location of the villa with the wonderful garden and direct lake access is phenomenal. There are rooms in different categories (single/double/apartment), which is a good alternative to the neighboring hotels. Very happy to come back!
