Comfortable accommodation in an idyllic setting. I recommend it for those who want to soak up nature and take their time. Heinz was very available!

It was a wonderful stay. The two dogs were our son's (6 years) best friends. Also very nice were the fresh eggs in the kitchen from their own chickens.. SUPER delicious... We will definitely be back when we explore Switzerland. Thank you again to the host

We had the pleasure of staying at Theres' lovely home for three days, and what a peaceful little getaway it was! We had to make a few changes to our booking, and she was super kind and flexible about it—something we really appreciated. She even picked us up from the station, which was such a thoughtful gesture! Theres is truly a kind soul, and her home reflects that warmth. The place is serene, surrounded by beautiful views that instantly put you at ease. The rooms were spotless, the furniture cozy, and the kitchen had more utensils than we knew what to do with! We felt right at home and are already looking forward to coming back again.

We had a wonderful stay with Andrea. Would 100% stay here again. It was good for my soul! Andrea is super helpful and kind, caring and her home is beautiful and well loved. We felt safe and at home straight away. Her cats are cute and love cuddles, the views are breathtaking and you could easily just lose a day taking in the mountain and lake view. So convenient for skiing or hiking. We could easily ski to the neighbouring resort of klewenalp too. Ideally placed property and ski rental available at the bottom of the mountain. Gondolas and ski lifts start early in the day so great for making the most of the skiing. Can’t wait to come again. Thank you Andrea 🤩🤗

We had a great multi-generational weekend (2-65 years), were the only guests and had the generous surroundings, incl. Outdoor kitchen, for us and we really enjoyed it. The kids found some toys for outside and were happy. In the outdoor area, there are certainly a few things that need to be renewed or overhauled (chairs and tables around the grill, beach chair, possibly fabric of the yurt and lounge cushions) Merci Kurt:)

Cannot say enough great things about this place. Florence was a wonderful host. She greeted us upon arrival and gave us a tour of the place, even offering to help up with our luggage. Both mornings she made a delicious, very filling breakfast with a variety of fruits, breads, eggs, bacon, and hash browns and brought it over to where we were staying. During our stay she was very responsive and kept an eye on the weather for us. When we left, she was sure to see us off. The highlight of this place is the view. Really cannot beat the sights this place offers. From the bed to the patio, looking out to the lake and mountains will continue to impress. The pictures, as amazing as they are, don’t do it justice. The residential area and place was pristine. The entire room was very clean with well thought out details from plates and utensils to a heated floor in the bathroom. Highly recommend a stay with Florence. It was the best place I’ve ever been.

Simea and Beda’s place was beautiful. We loved our stay. Very peaceful with beautiful views. Very friendly and responsive hosts.

Jurg was an amazing host, very friendly :) The location is beautiful - you can trully feel peace there. Jurg's animals are always around, beuatiful white dog and 2 cats.

We let an employee stay here for a week as we had a project nearby. Erika is very friendly. Unfortunately, there is a renovation and therefore it is no longer private. However, the info was communicated from the beginning, so no star deduction. But it would be great if this were not only on the host profile, but also on the listing of the room. Otherwise, everything was as described and our employee was very satisfied.

Our two-night stay to take a real break between Belgium and Tuscany was a real pleasure at Claudia's. We would have stayed much longer. Our daughters loved being close to the horses and we were lucky enough to enjoy the large common area and the covered terrace with a great view just for us. A place full of peace and quiet to recommend!

Fresh air, green pastures, roaming cows with their swiss neck bells, a friendly border collie named Nero, a lot of cats and a spring right outside. This place was perfect for us and especially our toddler during weeklong stay in Switzerland. Located only 30 minutes from Lucern, so you are not too far away from the hustle and bustle. Both hosts are very friendly and allowed us to check in early, we liked the place so much that we ended up extending our stay by a day which was also accommodated well. Hoping to see everyone here again, we will be happy to rebook it if we plan to stay in this region. The downside we noticed was poor sound isolation as the building is old, you hear a lot from downstairs and vice versa.

Christine and Elena have created a wonderful place in their lovingly furnished Spycher in Trub, where you can relax and recharge your batteries. A great place to stay for nature lovers and explorers. The warm nature of Christine and Elena, of course, contributes to this oasis of well-being.

Judy’s place was homely and comfortable. She met us at the ferry stop and gave us a short tour of the village. The house is a short walk to the bus, train and Rigi Bahn stations. Although Vitznau is a village there is a small but well stocked mini market and there are several restaurants within walking distance. Judy is a very approachable person and left us a generous welcome pack.

Daniela is friendly and attentive. The apartment is above a horse stall, which is a real authentic experience with regards to locals and the small town. Daniela even refilled the wood of our fireplace without us even asking. It was a great experience.

Andrea was extremely great, she was awesome very welcoming, if I ever plan to visit Switzerland, I will stay at her place. Thank you for the free eggs and milk. Thank you so much for the great hospitality best wishes to you and your family 🙏🙏

Kate’s place is wonderful. We had everything we needed and felt so comfortable and relaxed while there. It is spotless. The beds and linens are comfortable. She even offered to pick us up and drop us off at the bus station. We did not have a car, utilized the bus to get to her place and Lucerne. Sometimes we used Uber, which was also very efficient. We’d end our day in Lucerne and grab some groceries near the train station to take back to prepare meals. The kitchen has everything you need to prepare a proper meal. I felt sad to leave such a tranquil, comfortable home.

Bernadette and Josef are outstanding hosts - friendly, welcoming and helpful. The apartment is beautiful and is furnished and equipped with high quality items that have been chosen with care. The setting provides superb views to forests and meadows and opportunities for fun and games on site if you fancy. Very highly recommended.

Yvonne communicated with us often. Carmen met us at the house and explained everything about the house and area to us. We absolutely loved the house on 3 levels and amazing views from all 3 levels. The spa tub, sauna, and cold plunge were the icing on the cake. There is so much to do in Vitznau/Mt Rigi Spa/Ferry around the lake, and so much more. We will stay here again, soon!

Amazing! I stayed here with my 70+ mother, who cannot walk long distances. You can park the car right in front of the entrance. There are 10 very mild steps to enter the house. The living room, kitchen, 1 bedroom and 1 bathroom+toilet are on the ground floor, which makes it very accessible for a person who cannot climb many stairs. The apartment is exactly like on the photos, only the view is way much better. The things that you expect to be old and authentic are old and authentic: table, couch, chairs etc. The things that you expect to be new and modern are new and modern: kitchen, bathrooms, electric blinds, lights etc. The house was thoughtfully designed and it had all the amenities you need/want. The view is breathtaking. The homemade stuff Lisbeth makes are super tasty, reasonably priced and makes life easy (different kinds of breads / cakes in your freezer, and marmalades etc in the storage). Lisbeth is super friendly and present if you need anything. Overall score: 5+ stars!
