Kid-friendly vacation rentals in Lucas County

This place is right on the water... very peaceful! We did not get a chance to kayak due to rain every day, even though we didn't get out, the views were spectacular. I did get a chance to fish right behnd the house, maybe thirty steps. I didn't catch anything but again the weather was bad. My wife and I really loved the drive in and drove the neighborhoods. I don't know if Tyler mentioned the Toledo Mudhen's minor league team is only a 15 minute drive. We caught a game and enjoyed the stadium. One other thing that Tyler mentioned, was a beach. We drove 20 minutes from the house, and it didn't disapoint. It is the Maumee State park, it has a huge lake beach and an Inland lake with it's own beach (great for little kids and open for fishing). We even saw a bald eagle.

Will totally stay again! Anne’s place was so clean, fun, and perfect for my travel.

We had a fantastic experience staying here! The place was exactly as described—clean, comfortable, and thoughtfully prepared. Becky was incredibly welcoming and responsive, making everything smooth from check-in to check-out. The location was perfect for our needs, and we truly felt at home. We would absolutely stay again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a great stay!

This place was amazing. exactly what we needed for 2 adults. The soaking tub was great and we enjoyed relaxing. We had dinner near by at Jing Chaun. The place was so clean, the kitchenette was great. Snacks were a plus too! There was a work area as well as a big bathroom. It was very similar to a hotel feel. 1 big room with a bed and small fridge/kitchen area, a TV, a desk area, and a bathroom. but it was waaaay cleaner, nice tub and it was in a nice environment amongst trees. the host was super responsive!

This was a fantastic stay. The house is in a great location a beautiful view in the backyard and a great pool aswell as hot tub. The host were very kind and accommodating and I recommend anyone in the area the check them out 10/10 experience!

A perfect house for families! We stayed at Theresa’s house to go to the Toledo Zoo which was about a 20 minute drive from the house. We had a couple toddlers and babies and her house made for easier travel. The yard was beautiful and only a 10 minute walk to a cute park at the Toledo Botanical Garden. Theresa was easy to communicate with and I would recommend staying! Thank you for a great time!

The place was just as described. Overall, it was a really nice experience. I really don't have anything negative to say and it was a comfortable place to spend the weekend or a short trip.

The house was full of charm and cozy. It was a perfect space to use as a landing pad while in town for a wedding weekend.

Absolutely amazing location for what I needed and the place was super clean and excatly what was listed. However, the rental above had some extremely loud kids and a crying toddler. I didn't say anything to Sierra though because we were already packing up and getting ready to leave but I could see how this could be very annoying to someone who is there long term especially since this was from 7am-10am. I also found that there was no full length mirror but its definitely not needed unless you're looking for improvements :) overall, this was a good stay, very clean, easy to find and check in. Would stay again if I ever needed to. Thanks !

We had the most wonderful time and we felt treated like royalty. Susan welcomed us to a kitchen full of goodies (fancy ones) and Christmas stockings! We already miss her place, everything was perfect! Thank you, Susan and Charlotte!

The place was great! It was perfect for the three of us, as we had privacy and comfortable shared space. The beds, pillows, and linens were all great, and supplies of expendable items were well stocked. The price was fantastic for the space compared to what a hotel would have cost us.

Accommodation made last minute for a family emergency and Vanessa approved it immediately to ensure my family had a place to sleep! Would stay again if I am in the area!

Easily walkable to all restaurants and stores. Easy parking. Clean and comfortable accommodations.

The Nature Escape was a lovely place for us to get some much needed rest when we were in town for a wedding! Everything was spotless and you can tell Dana and Tim really thought through what would make guests feel comfortable. We’re glad we were able to bring our dog with us (even though he was a little afraid of the stairs 😅). Thank you, Dana, for being so accommodating with our requests!

What a wonderful, gracious host- always immediately responsive and helpful! The place was clean, inviting, quiet, and had everything we needed! Because of exceptionally poor planning on my part, Jennifer thankfully allowed us to check in earlier than the stated time - which made it so less stressful for me! One word suffices for our stay here - Perfect!

This is a perfect rental. The condo was very clean and uncluttered. The bed was super comfy and there were plenty of clean towels for the bathroom and kitchen. The host goes out of her way to make sure you have everything you need. There were snacks and coffee plus bathroom toiletries and dish soap. I loved sitting on the covered balcony watching the boats go by in the marina. I was in the area for bird watching and this is a perfect location. Magee Marsh and Ottawa refuge are close by. Port Clinton is a 15 min drive away and has a nice Krogers and really good restaurants. I would stay here again and I would highly recommend Deborah's place.

Frank made sure that we were happy and taken care of , the boat dock broke the day we got there and he got us another. Weather was good for fishing during our stay easy access to Lake Erie. Fishing was great be back next year.

We had a great stay at Chris and Dawn's condo. The space was clean, well equipped and just as described in the listing. The hosts were very responsive and quick to answer any questions we had. The view from the screened balcony was awesome. Highly recommended!

Easy access, up to date appliances and amenities

I don’t know where to begin. I have struggles with OCD in my life, so when I say that this was home away from home, I mean that! The smell inside was amazing, and the cleanliness was spectacular. If I had questions, they would respond in a short period of time. I mean, WOW! I don’t use air bnb often, but this was the best experience I’ve ever had. This was a last minute reservation as my mother in law suddenly passed away, and I was able to arrive in town and relax right away (I drove 17 hours to be there). There was cold water in the refrigerator and super clear instructions on everything I needed to know while I stayed in their beautiful home. The neighborhood was so quiet and peaceful. If I ever return back to the city, I will ONLY stay here. Thank you so much for the hospitality and making this tough trip so smooth and easy.
