The Cart Lodge

GillRating, 5 stars1 month ago
We had a great few days at The Cart Lodge. Stoke-By-Nayland and surrounding areas were beautiful - helped by gorgeous weather. Colchester was well worth a visit. We slept very well in the comfortable bed, and the bathroom was great, also the lovely garden space. Annie kindly provided breakfast foods of high quality and little extras that made our stay very pleasant. We’d recommend a stay here.

Superb and extremely clean accommodation, in a lovely quiet location. Everything you need for a short, medium or long stay. Gillian was an excellent, responsive host who kept us updated before and all through our break. If you are wanting to stay around the Constable or Colchester area. I would thoroughly recommend this accommodation.

We had a lovely stay and found everything to be very clean and comfortable. A very peaceful setting tucked away in beautiful countryside Rebecca was very friendly and helped us out by giving a lift to my daughter to get her car back which we had left at the wedding we attended . We really appreciated that

Cosy Corner of Historic Country House & Garden

SallyRating, 5 stars1 day ago
The apartment was very private, located at the rear of the beautiful Fysh House. Tastefully decorated, very clean and comfortable. Lovely big shower, comfy bed with crisp clean linen. We absolutely loved having sole use of the walled rose garden. So peaceful to sit out with a glass of wine in the evening sunshine, or shelter in the shade of the trees when it was hot! Easy to walk into Bures via the footpath almost opposite the house. Plenty of local walks should you desire. Sophy was a very friendly host with good knowledge of the local area. We can thoroughly recommend a stay at Fysh House. Plus you must visit Lavenham and Flatford Mill (Constable’s Haywain) during your stay.

Luxury Shepherds Hut with outdoor area and hot tub

BenRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
We had a perfect two night stay, everything we wanted from our little vacation. The shepherds hut is everything it says it is. Would definitely recommend anyone looking for something different to stay here. Hosts were there if needed and left lots of ideas of what to do while we are there.

The Granary - Suffolk Countryside Retreat

SandieRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
This was our first stay on a month long road trip through the UK and this beautiful accommodation has certainly set a very high bar. The Granary is elegantly furnished, cosy and very comfortable, and Anne's attention to detail provided everything that is required for a relaxing holiday. The surrounding countryside is picturesque and peaceful but within striking distance to market towns and lovely pubs and restaurants. Anne's guide book was informative and knowledgeable about things to see and do in the area. We loved our stay at the Granary, would definitely stay there again and would highly recommend it to anyone wanting to enjoy the Suffolk countryside.

Meadow Valley Lodges - Lodge 1

ElenaRating, 5 stars1 month ago
This is a great place to stay for a little getaway from busy London. The house is very clean with amazing grounds for the kids to play and very convenient for a comfortable stay. The only thing that I would have to suggest is for the owners to do something with the internet as the connection was extremely slow or not possible at all. We needed the internet for work and couldn’t do much as mobile data was unstable too.
