The studio is detached but in the same grounds as our house. It has its own private entrance and parking. You enter via the fully fitted and equipped kitchen: dishwasher, fridge with small freezer compartment, microwave, induction hob, electric fan oven, kettle, toaster, cooking utensils, crockery, cutlery, and glassware. From the kitchen you then enter the open-plan lounge/bedroom where there is a king sized bed with feather and down duvet and pillows and white bed linen and towels.

Warm and well-equipped, it has been completely renovated and sits within the grounds of a working conservation farm. Strictly No Smoking. Only a ten minute walk from Loch Bay Restaurant, the Stein Inn, Skyeskyns and Diver's Eye, the lodge is surrounded by nature and wildlife with stunning views. It offers the perfect, peaceful break. Our breath was taken away when we walked in! The view is spectacular...the pictures in the listing don't even come close to doing this place justice. We sat in the evenings just staring out the windows with each golden hour, sunset, and afterglow surpassing the last! The home is clean and modern allowing the focus to be the surrounding nature. The beds were super comfy and the kitchens and bathrooms were perfectly equipped. Loved the mudroom and laundry room which allowed us to rid ourselves of our hiking clothes and clean anything we needed to without tracking it into the house. We also loved the outdoor chairs to sit on the deck watching the sheep and cows graze. If you want a place that captures the magic of the Isle of Skye, this is it!

Myself and my three (small) kids had the best time at Matthew’s home! It was clean, well stocked, and had beautiful views. We were able to explore Skye without being stuck in the crowds - and can’t wait to return! Matthew was also so flexible with check in and check out which was so helpful when CalMac changed our ferry time. I highly recommend this beautiful home!

The accommodation offers a cozy retreat to relax after a day of exploring. A small stove in the kitchen would have been a bonus, but you could get by just fine. The surroundings are very quiet and you have a beautiful view of the mountains. Joe always responded quickly and provided us with us. There was also a great welcome package on arrival. We felt very comfortable!
