Several footpaths are nearby, leading to pubs, gardens, and a hotel with a new spa. Nearby Horsham offers everything to be expected from a pretty English market town. Brighton is 20 minutes by car. Since the property is in rural Sussex, it is best to have a car at one’s disposal. However, short distances to venues such as Leonardslee and South Lodge can easily be reached on foot or by a 5-minute taxi ride.

Deer Lodge with a View

The Deer Lodge was to prefect location for us as we were visiting friends and family in Forest Row and Farnham. Waking up and seeing the deer across the field was lovely. There is a footpath that runs past the rear gate that takes you off across the fields and through the woods. It is the perfect place to come back to and flop for the evening. Thank you to Jim for making us feel so welcome.

Absolutely fantastic AirBnB! The location is easy to find and quiet at night. The house is very clean and well equipped, and the garden is such a lovely addition. I've never known such friendly and responsive AirBnB hosts. Martin and Julie were brilliant.

The stone patio features a rectangular wooden dining table surrounded by chairs, set against a backdrop of rustic wooden barn walls. A gas barbecue is positioned nearby, and potted greenery frames the area, enhancing the outdoor dining experience.

Our two families had a superb stay here. So well equipped and stunning location and accommodation. Really well set up and thought out so not wanting for anything, kitchen/dining really well equipped up for larger groups. Children loved the games room and so lovely to be able to just all stroll out into the woods and public footpaths. So rare to find somewhere where no room for improvement or any snags. A real treasure!

We had a great time at Linda's annex. The apartment was very modern, clean and well equipped. Linda was there to greet us and we were made to feel very welcome. The Egyptian bed sheets were wonderful. We enjoyed our breakfasts & lunch on the terrace, whilst basking in the sunshine. The terrace also has its own BBQ. If you want a quiet getaway with a super host, then this is definitely the place.

A private pathway is illuminated with soft pink lighting, leading through a gated entrance. The path is bordered by natural greenery and wooden fencing, creating a secluded atmosphere. The serene environment is enhanced by the dark night sky, accentuating the tranquil setting.

Amazing stay at the cave. Perfect for a romantic night away for our anniversary. Amazing hot tub in a peaceful and private garden. Victoria discovered it was our anniversary so added a few extras to make it special for our arrival. The only thing is that there was no shower for a proper rinse off after the hot tub and a couple of the glasses could be refreshed as a they were chipped and scratched. Other than that, an amazing stay and will definitely be returning without a doubt.

What a beautiful place to stay,Georgina was a fantastic host. We had the most wonderful weekend stay, field view was a delightful bolt hole, waking up to the view of the garden and beyond was the perfect sight, it was a great start to our mornings. With just a stones throw away, barely a 5 minute walk, was a great little pub - a great addition to have this on the doorstep, as well as South Lodge and Leonardslee Gardens, a must visit! Amenities were perfect and everything was spotless. Oh and the mattress was super comfy with great quality linen! Would highly recommended and we shall definitely be returning. Thanks so much again.

Tara was a superb host, very generous both with the accommodation and advice, a super communicator. The apartment was comfortable, fresh and bright, a great base to explore the local area. Just a 15-20min walk into Cuckfield for a good range of cafes and pubs.
