The cottage accommodates 6+2 guests. The cottage is located in the immediate vicinity of ski trails (500m), slopes (1.5km) and nature trails. From the large windows of the living room/kitchen facing the northern sky, you can admire the mountain landscape and, in the evenings, see the starry sky and the flames of the northern lights. 3 km to the store.

When you are outdoors in the yard of the cottage or on a quiet village road, you can see the starry sky and northern lights, weather permitting. From the cottage yard, you can go directly into the forest in winter with snowshoes, walking on the forest path or with a kick sled. The name of the cabin is "Palokero". It is named after the nearby fell.

Free use of the wood-heated sauna. The cottage has almost no neighbours and is a perfekt spot to relax or to shoots pictures from the aurora Borealis/northernlight. Atmospheric log cabin on the shore of Äkäsjoki. From the windows of the cottage, you can follow the flowing river, which is less than 20 meters away. You can go swimming after the sauna without worrying about the neighbors. This cottage accommodates 7 people at its best, but works best with less than six people. Downstairs you will find a hallway, a kitchen with a great fireplace, a sauna, a shower room, a toilet and a bedroom. Upstairs, there are two bedrooms, both with views of nature.

The sauna is located in a separate outdoor building, accessed through a glazed terrace. An outdoor fireplace is also situated on the terrace, where you can enjoy even the chilliest of evenings.
