The house was exactly like the photographs. From the time of booking to check-out, D. Adelaide was an excellent host, always available and attentive. The amenities were very comfortable and every corner of the house surprised us with the positive, with details thought out in detail to ensure the well-being and comfort of all. The reception by D. Gloria was extremely friendly and welcoming, and the welcome cake... was simply divine! Definitely an experience to repeat.

We loved our stay at Casa do Professor. It was so quiet and peaceful. Lovely views, beautiful house inside and out. It worked well for a day trip to the Duoro wine area and another to Viseu, it was wonderful to come home to. Also nice walks in the general area (one was from the house, towards town, onto the ecopista). Lovely, quiet area full of small villages. Easy driving, groceries and restaurants nearby. We cooked a few meals and had what we needed. Having the washing machine was helpful. Comfortable beds, beautiful decor, yummy pastries delivered by Antonio's parents. Antonio was responsive and gave a lot of helpful suggestions in response to our questions. Highly recommended!

It's more spacious and clean than expected, and all amenities are perfectly equipped. I also appreciate the host's quick and kind explanation and guidance, and especially the attentive consideration of operating the heating system in advance before check-in. I'd love to come back with my family if I get a chance.

We had a wonderful stay at Casa Da Alvarinha last week, it is such a lovely place. The house has so much character and is well equipped with plenty of communal areas, comfortable bedrooms, a decent kitchen, hot showers and everything that you need for your stay. Highlights included being surrounded by nature, the stunning outdoor dining area with the wisteria and lighting, and chilling out at the pool. Ana is a fantastic host, she doesn't intrude on your holiday but was always easy to get in touch with whenever you needed anything, quick to respond and very helpful. The cat Kim was no trouble at all and was a hit with the cat loving friends in my group. The location is so peaceful and within a half hours drive to Porto, we did catch the train a few times but mostly used Ubers which we found easy to book through the app. This trip was to celebrate my birthday with some close friends and I couldn't have asked for a more perfect place to stay or a better host, thank you Ana!

We spent a few wonderful days in this house and were absolutely delighted! The house is very clean, well maintained and cozy, you can see that it is really taken care of. Everything is thought out to the smallest detail — there were many useful things in the house that made life more comfortable and convenient. A special pleasure is the spacious terrace with a stunning view. In the mornings, we had breakfast outdoors, enjoying the silence and beauty around. Everything around was very quiet and peaceful — the perfect place to relax from the hustle and bustle of the city. Hosts are a special thank you! Very friendly, attentive and always ready to help. It was easy and pleasant to communicate with them. This house has become a real cozy corner for us, and we will be happy to come back again!

Ines is a wonderful person and excellent communicator that responds quickly. She met us upon arrival to show us around and was so thoughtful to leave us fresh fruit and snacks. She also has a vast knowledge of local places to visit, the Portuguese culture, driving tips, restaurants and more. The home was perfect for the 3 of us. Neighborhood is very safe and quiet. The home is cozy with a working fireplace, a back yard to bask in the sun, great WiFi, and heaters for comfort as needed. Numerous restaurants, local convenience shops, cafes and a cool mall (Vida Ovar) within 10 to 20 min driving. Definitely recommend having a car to explore. I highly recommend her home for a wonderful visit.

Our stay was amazing. We went to Grijó for a wedding and the location couldn't be more perfect. Emília was an amazing host, super available, attentive and of a giant sympathy! The house, besides the excellent cleaning, is very welcoming and is equipped with everything we need and something else :) all the corners were thought to detail with a lot of love and affection, both inside and outside that is also very pleasant ! And it's impossible not to feel the good energy ❤️ We sincerely thank you for your attention and look forward to coming back!

We arrived and in felt like home. My daughter's loved the special cake that Marta left for us upon arrival. The house is well equipped with everything you need and more. The bathtub was a favorite, and the balcony was a wonderful place to relax and people watch. The beach is only steps away, along with places to grab a snack. We used the bikes for a fun ride and my daughter loved the game room area to read and do crafts. Something for everyone in a picture perfect location. The entire home was impeccable. Simply fantastic! We had an amazing stay at Rui and Marisa's house. Everything was impeccably clean, well cared for and with a decor full of good taste and attention to detail. We felt at home from the very first moment. We loved the jacuzzi and, of course, the fireplace area, which made the nights even more special. Everything was designed to provide comfort and memorable moments. You can see the affection with which everything was prepared! We recommend it 100% and hope to return in the future. I so enjoyed my stay in this stunning stone house built by the host's direct relatives! I was truly charmed by the soft tinkling of goats' bells in the pasture, the adorable village dog known and loved by all, a private porch, a crackling fire on a chilly night. This village and it's people are really special, experimenting with organic farming and regularly offering multi-generational events. I was even invited to a village party that included impromptu music, singing and dancing. Self-taught musicians played accordians, guitars and ukuleles while their neighbors & relatives danced. If I moved to Portugal (I wish I could!) I would want to vacation here for a month every year. It's a perfect spot for a writer's retreat, quiet reflection or uninterrupted time together as a couple. The kitchen is a fully functional kitchen, with all the pots, pans, implements and appliances you could possibly need to prepare and serve a meal for 10 (even an immersion blender!)

This place is incredible. A renovated house from the medieval period, it’s even more impressive than the pictures. The setting is beautiful, with a view of the valley right out the bedroom window. The place itself is spotless and the automated check-in was a breeze. The host even had a bottle of wine waiting for us, and it’s well stocked with coffee. Like most homes in the region, be prepared to drive for groceries and restaurants - and take note that the drive to the house is steep downhill and at times narrow - but take it slow and you’ll be fine. The location of this place is perfect if you want to visit both Porto and the Douro valley. 10/10 would recommend!

We have been spent several trips in this lovely house. More than 2 months staying which is very comfortable for us. Manuel was always trying to help if there was any needs from us. Very quiet place, safe neighborhood, not far from downtown if u drive.

Joana's house was exactly what we needed 4 adult couples from the family each from a different part of the world The house is wonderfully equipped Designed in a rustic style, inviting and the garden is well maintained The property is exactly as you see in the pictures. It was well worth it!

We had a lovely week at the house and the surrounding nature. The house was beautifully located, well equipped and clean! Although we had very rainy weather during our stay, we still enjoyed beautiful hikes and the house offered a cosy refuge for us. Quiet location (which was what we wanted), excellent house, views, spacious (inside and outside/garden), lots of extras/gifts from the host, who was impeccable. I recommend it and we'll possibly return with warmer temperatures.

A fantastic and unique space that really shows the incredible potential of buildings in Porto. The apartment is well-equipped and comfortable, and communication with the host was smooth and easy. We really enjoyed our stay!

The most beautiful air bnb which you won't regret booking! The garden is simply out of this world....the pool, the flowers, the large lawn area, the fresh water source straight from the mountains, the views and the tranquility were simply astonishing. The house itself is sweet and compact but has everything you need and is well thought out. We had the most perfect week here and we're already planning when we'll be back as we loved it that much- a wonderful stay in the most serene area.
