Slieve Foy House

Fantastic place to stay in Carlingford. There was a trail near the Airbnb and a great view of the town. It is sitting on a hill, so if you don't have a car it may be hard to get to the town center. But otherwise, it was a fantastic location with plenty of space to spread out and even enjoy a night in.

The Loft @ Shemara (Greencastle, Kilkeel Co Down)

PeterRating, 5 stars4 days ago
We stayed for three nights as a family with two children and had a wonderful experience. The hosts were incredibly kind and gave us great local restaurant tips upon arrival. The loft is beautifully designed, spotlessly clean, and equipped with everything you might need. We really appreciated the thoughtful welcome treats – milk, butter, chips, and cookies were waiting for us. The location is ideal for exploring the surrounding area, and the view of the Mourne Mountains is simply stunning. Highly recommended – we would definitely come back!

Unique & Peaceful ~ Peggy's Cottage in Carlingford

We had a wonderful stay at Sarah’s charming cottage in Carlingford! The place was cozy, spotless, and perfectly suited for our getaway. I asked Sarah to surprise my wife for our wedding anniversary, and she thoughtfully arranged flowers and champagne — a beautiful touch that made the celebration truly special. Highly recommend staying here for a welcoming host and lovely accommodation!

We fell in love with this little cottage and the beautiful piece of countryside and community that it’s nestled in. Not only was the location perfect for us to day trip around the west coast,Dublin and venture into Northern Ireland, it was so cozy just to stay in, really wished we had more time! The local pub is a five minute walk and so friendly! Side note..we also were very impressed with all the hard work and renovations it took to restore this quaint cottage! So glad we were able to enjoy it, cheers!!

Had a lovely stay at Elma's cottage. The location was peaceful and serene and Elma was a joy to deal with. The cottage was cosy and comfortable with everything we needed within. Also, Sirius the dog was an added bonus. We will definitely be back. Thanks again.
