The Little Washhouse is a beautifully-restored washhouse dating back over a hundred years. Hidden away, at the rear of High Meadow House, in the rural village of Cononley, this pretty stone cottage is an idyllic retreat for two and has everything you need for a relaxing stay and only minutes into the Yorkshire Dales. There are many beautiful walks in the village, along the river and canal. It also has two pubs and a village shop along with a train station linking it to Skipton and the Dales.

The small rural valley of Lothersdale is five miles from Skipton and on the edge of the Yorkshire Dales National Park, in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. We offer bikes, many country walks, and the excellent water comes from an aquifer (no chemical treatment). The 1845 Menagerie is a one bedroom apartment located within a minutes walk from Skipton High Street. It is situated on the ground floor of a terrace property and is all on one level. There is a parking space for one car at the rear of the property. It is accessed through an archway which measures 2.8 metres wide.
